FROM THE BOARD:

VRDO Hard at Work

Here’s what was accomplished:

The tot-lot renovation on Conquistador is complete, and the next tot-lot renovation on Calle Las Casas is in the planning phase.

Five new controllers have been installed, and four more have been approved to order and continue the VRDO water-saving project.

Rebates for controllers have been filed and approved.

The Village 4 brush clean-up is complete.

The Spring Tree Care Plan is complete.

Frazee and Silver Bluff plantings have been completed, and the Chroma to Mesa slope is underway.

Three additional dog stations have been installed.

Tot Lots

With shelter-in-place orders, please be cautious of your surroundings. The grassy areas in the common areas are now open. However, the tot lot structures will remain closed until further CDC, County, and City re-strictions are lifted. Please do not remove the orange fencing, caution tape, or closure signs from the tot lot structures. Tot lot structures MUST remain wrapped and closed at all times. We urge you to follow ALL CDC, County, and State Health Guidelines that are currently in place, as well as any set in the future. These guidelines include the fol-lowing (family gatherings, masks, and social distancing) along with any further guidelines set forth must be adhered to.

The HOA wants to stress to all homeowners to bring and use disinfect-ant wipes on the tables and benches prior to and after your families use. If you find that the Barriers have been removed, you should NOT assume that the structure has been opened. The HOA will notify you via email, newsletter and on-line when they reopen.

If orange fencing is removed or tampered with, the HOA may need to return to shutting down the entire playground. We appreciate your co-operation during this time.

Meeting Information, Community Updates, & News

Pest Concerns : It has come to management’s attention that

there has been an increase in rodent activity in certain areas.

Please be cautious about items left outside. Please store all dog

food, bird seed, etc. in your garage or home. Also, please keep

both front and back yards free from clutter and overgrown or

woody hedges to discourage rodent activity.

Pets: Please be cautious of your neighbors and their lawns. As

a reminder, pets are required to be leashed at all times within

the Association. Pet owners also must use dog bags to pick up

pet waste and dispose in the dog waste station trash can or

your personal trash can. Trash cans within playground and tot-

lots are not to be used for pet waste.

Architectural Changes

Any and all architectural changes need to go through the

architectural application process. Work must not start until

you receive an approval letter from your Village ARC Com-

mittee. If an architectural change is completed prior to ap-

proval and it is not within the architectural guidelines, the

ARC Committee will request changes be made to follow the

aesthetics and guidelines set forth by the HOA. If you have

questions about how to apply or which form to use, please

refer to the “Forms” section at www.myrdo.com for further

information. You can also reach out to our management

staff at [email protected]. Thank you!
