May I Go Now
May I go now? Don’t you think the time is right?
May I say good-bye to pain-filled days And endless lonely nights? I’ve lived my life And done my best, an example tried to be.
So can I take that step beyond and set my spirit Free? Didn’t want to go at first, I fought with All my might! But something seems to draw me
Now to a warm and loving light.
I want to go! I really do! It’s difficult to stay. But I will try as best I can to live just one More day...To give you time to care for me
And share your love and fears.
I know you’re sand and are afraid because I See your tears. I’ll not be far. I promise that
And hope you’ll always know that my Spirit will be close to you. Wherever you may go,
thank you for loving me, you know I love you too!
That’s why it’s hard to say good-bye and end This life with you. So hold me now, just one more
time and let me hear you say, because You care so much for me you’ll let me go today.

George Lawrence
Order of Service
George Lawrence was born on August 13, 1944, to the late Mr. Matthew
Alcide and Ms. Mary Ann Lawrence in Castries, Saint Lucia. He was the
eldest child in the family of his sister and brother who preceded him in
death.
With hopes and aspirations to make a better life for himself, George
moved to the United States where he became a United States Citizen.
Throughout his life, George loved working in the boating industries, until
his health failed.
On April 10, 2000, Mr. George Lawrence was united in marriage to his
devoted wife, Ms. Barbara Lawrence who stayed committee to her
wedding vows, “Until death do us part.” He also loved and cared for his
three sons that he raised from a young age. The Lord blessed George, to
see the fruit of his labor, by allowing him the time to witness his children
grow to become responsible, hard-working and loving men. In addition to
being a good father, he enjoyed being in the company of his grandchildren
and Godchildren.
While family meant a lot, George also loved keeping the family bond
between he and his sister and his cousin, Michealine Hockins who was like
a sister to him. He shared a special love towards his Aunt, Mary Cos, who
always gave him wise advise on how to better his life. George loved
spending time with his friends, cooking, playing dominos and laughing
together.
Mr. Lawrence was raised in the Catholic faith but he came to understand
that the cross of Jesus Christ represented eternal life. For many years
George attended the Grace Tabernacle Church of Broward. Before his
death George accepted the Lord Jesus Christ as his Lord and Savior.
He leaves to mourn in his passing his devoted wife, Barbara Lawrence;
three sons: Tamarios Pierce (Yolanda), Deveilyus Pierce (Shauntay) and
Demetrius Brown; mother-in-law: Lillie Mae Brown; three grandchildren:
Tamaurice Pierce, Tamera Pierce and Anayah Pierce, all from Fort
Lauderdale, FL; sister: Charlemagne (Ali) from Louisiana; brother-in-law:
Willie Brown (Lisa), from Fort Lauderdale, FL and Joshua Brown from
Orlando, FL; sister-in-law: Valisha Stokes (Randy) from Millsbrooks, AL;
