You can have the doctor's office fax the orders and plans directly. Please call if you have any questions Also, keep the nurse informed of any new medical conditions. If you are new to the school, please call to make me aware of any conditions. Please get orders for scheduled and non scheduled as needed medications to the nurse asap so we can keep your children safe. Thank you! Leslie Dolan, RN
National Art Honor SocietyFor the first time at Taconic HS there will be a National Art Honor Society. An organizational meeting will be held on Tuesday, September 30th at 2:30pm
Members of Taconic's National Honor Society (NHS) offer peer tutoring in some studies during the school day. The National Honor Society has thirty five members, and selected NHS members are available during
studies to help their fellow students get back on track in math, the sciences and foreign languages. This is a volunteer, part time program whose mission is to provide extra help for Taconic students by their peers. Our ability to match students may be limited by their schedules, but please contact Mrs. Cochran, librarian, or your guidance counselor to determine whether this program is right for you.

They may also assist teachers and administrators in dealing with behavioral or attitude issues by communicating with students to find the causes of their distress. When appropriate or necessary, school adjustment counselors may provide information for outside support services or agencies to help students deal with economic, emotional or physical challenges.
