CLASS WILL
We, the class of '54, being completely unbalanced and thoroughly unsound, do hereby
bequeath the following to the eighth grade.
To Robby, Lalitte leaves her contagious laugh and Kitty may have some of Betsy's
noise to keep up the traditional clamor in the ninth grade room. To Randy goes K.K. 's
renowned tact, while to Susie Bragdon, Polly leaves her innocent look, which is very con
venient while passing notes. Since no girl can have too many, Tina leaves her boys to
Linda. To keep up with the current fashions, Evelyn Ellenger receives a straight blonde
streak from Sally, while Eda leaves Prue her economy-sized bottle of peroxide. Mag
bequeathes her bookworm to Alice Louise and Mary leaves her many brothers and sisters
to add to Ginny's collection. Susan bestows her ballet shoes upon Eliza and to Harriet
goes Sandra's blush. Suzanne leaves the diet table to Jacky, with a smuggled eclair, and
Emily wills her glamorous looks to Ann Giese. While Daphne contributes her rouge to
keep up Evelyn's rosy glow, Ginger's faithful attendance at S. T .A. games goes to Gail. Kay
receives a jet froJll Roman so that she won't have to walk anymore and J.J. leaves her
curling iron to Sandra. Mary Virginia may have Janet's dimples, and Mag leaves her
much-needed bobby-pin to Penny. Liz Fagg receives Lucy's driver's license to get her
into town, and Dinny is willing to trade her scooter for Marsha's Jaguar. To Star-eyed
Elise goes Didette's subscription to the Washington Post; and to Ann Bradley, Poesy leaves
a size nine shoe with an extra large tongue. Amy leaves to Christine a book of corny jokes
with a stalk of corn so that there will always be an ear to listen. Elaine will part with some
of her bird seed to feed Peggy's canary-like voice. Susan leaves her gift of gab to Sarah,
while Kate hands her long legs down to Gretchen. J.J.'s perfect attendance record goes to
Jon, and Edith receives the traditional scout pin from Polly. Edie leaves her deep voice to
Robin and her athletic ability to Ann Swift. A little of Betsy's permanent suntan goes to
Ellen and Dinny leaves a Kaiser to Frazier.
And so, Potomac, rest in peace as the ninth grade leaves.
