When you get your kit… Use this Representative Handbook as a guideline. If you haven’t found the answer to your
question, contact your Account Manager‐ they are here to help you!
Familiarize yourself with all of the Shells in your kit; learn each name, material and texture.
Place a non‐permanent sticker on the inside of any Shells that do not have a name on the inside.
This will help you familiarize yourself with their names and product codes for upcoming Parties.
Newer Shells will already have the name printed on the inside.
Read all past newsletters (that are still relevant) for tips and tricks for your Parties! They can be
found by logging into our website (www.michebag.ca). If you haven’t got your login set up
please e‐mail [email protected] and she will set you up right away!
Have a mock Party! This way you can find out what supplies you will need and how you will go
about setting up your Party in another’s home.
Start promoting yourself! You can do this through many free outlets like Kijiji or Craig’s List.
Make sure to read the Do’s and Don’ts of Miche Bag to keep on top of being a great
Representative!
Order your own Miche business cards using our template, which can be found by logging into
our website (www.michebag.ca). You can use sites like www.staplescopyandprint.ca or
www.vistaprint.ca or www.mediacolour.ca to order your business cards.

Make a Party Plan! - Circle of Friends When Party planning always make yourself a “Circle of Friends” chart like the one you
see below! You will be amazed to see how many parties you can get out of such a small
group of ladies.
For example, you could have ONE party with your Mom, Sister, Aunt and Best Friend
and then end up doing one Miche Party every couple of months OR you could have
FOUR Parties, one for each lovely lady and her circle of friends. This way your inner
circle introduces you to a whole new group of women and expands your Miche business
very quickly! Split your one large group of women into smaller groups!
6 | P a g e
Mastering the Home Party PreparationGetting to know your Hostess!
Ask her to outline what her expectations are before the Party. What are her goals? What does she need
to do to get a $2000 party? Think about lending your Miche Bag to your Hostess (if she does not already
have one) to allow her to show it around. Give some of your new brochures to her; allow her to show
her Miche Bag wherever she goes! Make this relationship a win‐win situation for both of you.
Display
1. Have a:
Greeting room‐ with a commercial running on your TV or laptop. Ex.
(http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Va8zQqs3WRI or
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tDOYK7u9QsQ&feature=results_main&play
next=1&list=PLC8CCD6C8DCB3DFD2) This will set the tone of your party, engage
your guests and encourage questions while waiting for new arrivals.
Show room‐ Display your Miche products and cover with a sheet. This set‐up
creates anticipation and excitement at the Party.
Unveiling!‐ If you start and finish in the same room, we strongly advise you to
arrange your Miche display on a separate table and cover with a sheet until you
have thanked the Hostess, then unveil!
2. Be creative, use:
Drying racks or dividers to hang your closet organizers. * You can find lots of great ideas and helpful hints from your fellow Reps on http://forum.michebag.ca/ ,
www.michebag/ca and our Private Rep Facebook
https://www.facebook.com/#!/profile.php?id=100002273467770
3. Different combinations:
Miche Classic Bags with long, short and chain handles.
Feature both the wrap‐around Shells and slip‐on Shells. Have brown, cream and black bags set up with Shells that look best with each.
Display accessories
4. Don’t forget about brochures, leaflets, and any other Miche information!
Have this type of material amongst your display and/or in a binder to pass around.
7 | P a g e
Demonstration1. Introduction
Make sure to introduce yourself and thank your Hostess for hosting the party! Explain how the
program works for you as a Representative and your Host as the Hostess.
2. Demonstration (Use your Classic!)
Have your Classic Miche Bag in hand; replace Shells repeatedly while talking through the
following selling points:
Quality‐ Point out the series of 16‐high powered, computer‐safe/credit card safe
magnets which run along the outer edges to hold the Shells in place.
Classic Quality‐ Show each Shell you change has studded bottoms to protect your purse
from water and dirt all‐year round.
A place for everything and everything in place‐ Mention that you will never forget your
“lipstick, key’s, compact” again when switching purses, because you don’t have to, just
change the outer Shell!”
Fashion‐ Remind your guests how often you will receive compliments when it comes to
your Miche Bag. It is hard to leave the house without someone commenting on your
new purse every day. Shells come in beautiful colours, patterns and great detail. Every
Shell is distinct and new Shells are released monthly!
Confidence‐ Just like our logo states, “Endless possibilities.” Owning a Miche Bag will let
you be confident in knowing that you are always fashionable by having the right bag for
every outfit and occasion.
3. Why the Price Difference for Shells
There has always been Signature and Premium Shells for the Miche Bag. Miche Canada has been absorbing the cost differences between the two. When customers ask, “Why does this Shell cost more than that Shell?” It is best to relate it to something they are familiar with like dress making or reupholstering furniture. The Miche design team may work with similar pieces of material but one piece of fabric chosen for a Shell may be much more expensive than another. The amount of workmanship that goes into creating a Shell affects the price as well ( i.e. extra pockets, zippers, seams, and additional hardware).
8 | P a g e
4) Colour Code your Demonstration Shells: Explain to your customers that there are 2 levels of Shells in each Miche line. To make it easy for you and your customers to clearly distinguish between the different levels of Shells, mark the back of each Shell with a sticky coloured dot (these can be found at any dollar store, Wal‐Mart or Staples). Use a“dot” for each Premium Shell, which is $5.00 more than a Signature Shell. 5) Demonstrate with the Classic: ‐it is the easiest and quickest to demonstrate with ‐visually it is the easiest to conceptualise ‐has the biggest “WOW” effect When you finish demonstrating with the Classic, say the Classic Bag also comes in Petite, Demi and the Prima size (pick up and demo). All Miche lines have the same concept as the Classic, with magnets running along the top of the base and Shells.
6) The Close
“The Miche Bag is available on‐line where you can buy the individual Shells and bases. If you were purchasing a "complete kit" on‐line it would cost anywhere from approx. $ 135.00 to $ 200.00 depending on which Shells you picked. However ladies, this is a Miche party and I am a Miche Rep so here is my very special offer, tonight you may take home the Base Bag for the Classic, Prima, Demi or Petite for $100.00. You don't have to buy the Shells separately here at the party. Pick 2 Signature Shells for the Prima or the Demi, 3 for the Classic or 4 for the Petite included with the purchase price. That's right! any Miche Kit at a home party is $100.00 when you are getting signature Shells. If you have been noticing my specially marked "red" dot Shells these are premium Shells, and they are just $5 more than the Signature Shells. If you have a Miche Bag or see a third or a fourth Shell that you do not want to miss out on (warning‐Miche Shells do sell out and retire!) Pick it out now....choose from the ones I have here, the Shells I showed you on the leaflets, or the ones on‐line ...but ignore that nasty on‐line pricing, with me the Signature Shells range from $20‐$50 depending on which Miche line you choose. We do have special bundling pricing available if you choose to purchase multiple Shells, oh and did I mention for the Petite Bag I also include in a Long Strap?..” •ALWAYS give clear instructions of how to purchase (i.e. “pick up your Shells and come see me, I accept cash, cheques and credit cards”). •NEVER make someone feel bad for not being able to purchase a Miche that day, make sure everyone knows that may earn one free as a hostess, and to ask you for details. •We have provided examples of “Kit” sales from www.michebag.ca showing the prices our customers pay online. We have also provided a pricing chart for you to use as a guide at your Parties. Please feel
free to use as a sales aid.

7) Unveil your Miche!!!
8) Notice the Shells your guests are admiring:
E.g. “The Red Ellie Shell! Very nice, I have always liked red handbags. It seems so powerful. I
don’t know if I could carry one every day but isn’t it nice to have the option?”
E.g. “I have never been a pink, bows and ribbons type of girl but I love the Pink Cori Shell you are
looking at, it really pulls out a woman’s feminine side.”
“That’s what is so wonderful about a Miche Bag, you can explore all the different sides of your
“purse‐anality”…strong, bold, fun, creative, feminine, etc.!”
9) Talk about:
Travelling with your Miche – so easy and convenient! They take up so little space!
How the same Shell on the black base looks completely different on the brown base.
How, like the wheels on a suitcase, Miche is becoming the new norm for fashion.
Michelle’s story
10) Accessories!
Display all the accessories you have with your kit, allow your guests to change things up and see
what they like. Be sure to comment on accessories last, sell the Miche Bag first!

Canada is working their Miche business, gain success tips and tricks and learn how‐to
demonstration your Miche Bag! Best of all, have a blast!
4. There has never been a better time to buy a Miche!
Miche is always on the cutting edge. There is always a new design to look forward to in this
future!
5. What is the best way to sell a Demi or a Prima? Carry the Classic…
10 | P a g e
The Classic is the easiest of the bags to do in an instant demonstration when in line at the bank,
at the school, when you’re at the mall. It is your 30 second pitch. It allows you to make
introductions quickly.
6. Clients first
Always follow up with a phone call, email or thank you card after you have done business with one of your clients. Check in with guests through e‐mail or a phone call two days prior to a Party. Regardless of the subject, respond to your clients as soon as you can. The more commitment and loyalty you have to your clients, the more loyalty they will have in your Miche business.
7. Use “Ask me about my purse” Promo Items!
Use these items to start conversations, use them while you’re out and about, at work, at your
Parties for demonstration etc.
8. Think BIG
Think big! The sky is the limit. Believe in the product you are selling, and sell with conviction. Take and show your bag wherever you go, take along business cards and brochures to promote the product. Don’t worry about the little things. Although it is very possible that you may have another sales Representative in your area, just remember to have faith: the purses sell themselves. You will get your initial investment back plus many more clients, products and profit depending on how active you are.
9. Front and Centre! Unlike many of those other Home Party programs, the Miche Bag does the work for you. Being the fashion savvy woman that you are, showcasing the Miche is as effortless as carrying it around with you on a day‐to‐day basis. By changing your Shell every day and wearing it with pride, you can keep your Miche front and centre! Here are some ways to help further display the Miche Bag:
Place your Miche on your desk at work
On the counter when shopping Beside you at social gatherings Remember, never place a Miche on the floor or hide it under a desk!
10. Customize your Miche Business Create an e‐mail address that quickly identifies and demonstrates integrity in your Miche Home Party business. Some examples are:
11 | P a g e
11. Hold prize drawings at Parties! Guests earn tickets based on how much they participate in the festivities! Here are some examples of how they might get tickets:
RSVP: 1 ticket Arrive on time: 2 tickets
Bring an outside order: 3 tickets Bring a friend: 4 tickets Book a Party: 10 tickets Bring your Hostess a beverage or appetizer that fits the Party’s theme: 10 tickets
Dress for the theme: 10 tickets
12. Be a Weeble!
Be who you want to be...or at least fake it till you make it! Walk tall, smile, dress for success,
look people in the eye, and use positive words. Don’t dwell on what can’t be done, just do what
is possible. Even though all of the above statements are clichés, they can be life changing
because they are motivating and self‐fulfilling. Are you old enough to remember the toy
commercial for Weebles? “Weebles wobble but they do not fall down.” No truer words have
ever been spoken. Be a Weeble. I know I am.

Master Order Form-MOF
Master Order Form or MOF
14 | P a g e
How‐TofillouttheMasterOrderForm1. In the first row beside ‘Customer Name’ write each client’s name and assign them to their own column. Add in Host Incentives and HPR Incentives like above by placing “Host Incentives” and “HPR Incentives” in customer’s name row. If you have more than five clients for one party use another master order form or use this document as an excel spreadsheet and add columns and formulas.
2. List off each order under each name. Enter the amount of each item purchased. If your client “Barb” orders two classic black base bags you would place a two (2) the corresponding spot.
3. When you reach the bottom of the master order form you will need to fill in the order’s sub‐total, shipping taxes and total. 4. Under the column to the right that states total, mark down the total amount of each shell needed. If all three clients on your list want a Jayma Shell then you would enter in a three (3) in the total column (This includes Host and HPR Incentives).
5. Once you have plugged in all of the data into the master order form, you will need to calculate the order form total for all the clients on the particular form. Tally final total amount of the sub‐total, shipping taxes and total located at the bottom right hand side of the table. 6. Once your order is complete, fax your order to 905‐438‐8641 or toll free to 1‐877‐977‐9097. You may also scan and email your order to [email protected] or [email protected] where we will reply with a confirmation when we receive your order. If you fax your order, you will receive a confirmation via email.
Note: The master order form is supposed to be a summary of your Party order. It is updated often so be sure to refer to the
Member’s Login at www.michebag.ca for the most recent copy.
15 | P a g e
How-To fill out Order Forms 1. Fill out client’s name, address, phone number and
email address (email addresses are for your personal
records, our head offices will not compile clients’
emails). You must personally forward new shell
releases or promotional emails to your customers.
2. Fill in the date of Party, your name (presenter) and Host’s name.
3. Encourage your guests to book home parties
(check yes or no on invoice).
4. Example of how to write down a starter kit on the invoice. Fill out quantity and do not to add any number value into the “amount” section. 5. Example of adding extra Shell on invoice.
6. Example of how to add more than one of the same
Shell to an invoice. Add the actual price of the
product into “amount” section. Add total value of
Shells into the “extended” section ( 2x 20= $40).
7. Write in sub‐total of the amount of all products on
invoice.
8. Add in shipping cost.
9. Tip‐ Calculate GST or HST on sub‐total & shipping
where applicable.
10. Calculate PST on Sub‐total (if your province uses
PST).
11. Add together sub‐total, shipping, GST, PST.
12. Copy down credit card type, credit card number,
expiration date. Please make sure the customer signs
the invoice. If the client is paying with cash or cheque,
write down payment type in “card #” area.
16 | P a g e
How-To Fill Hostess Incentives
1. Fill out client’s name, address, phone number and
email address (email addresses are for your personal
records, our head office will not compile clients’ emails).
You must personally forward new shell releases or
promotional emails to your customers.
2. Fill in date of Party, your name (presenter) and Host’s
name.
3. Example of how to write down incentives for the host of the Party. Make sure to write down “incentive” beside shell name so we know what they are and not to charge your host.
4. Do not fill in credit card information or price totals. You may write in “Host Incentives”.
17 | P a g e
How-To fill out your Incentives
1. Fill out your name.
2. Fill in date of Party, name (presenter) and
Host’s name.
3. Write in all clients’ names that have paid with
either cash or cheque and fill in the totals of
their invoice. Tally up overall amount of cash and
cheques and calculate the total in the “total”
section on the lower right hand side of the
invoice. This amount will be charged to your
credit card.
4. Fill in your (the presenters) incentives. Indicate that they are your incentives so you will not be charged.
Note: Please do not write your credit card number on every invoice where cash or cheque is used as payment. During CC processing, it is important for us to process only the total of your CC. Processing multiple items to your CC may disable your card.
18 | P a g e
Take your Party Sales to the next level Has this ever happened to you? Your net Party sales are at the $480.00 mark or the $980.00 mark‐close to receiving extra incentives, but yet so far. Try this!
1. Encourage your Hostess to buy the extra Shell for the Classic or the accessory that will put
your Party at the next level for incentives. For example, if your Party is at the $980.00 net sale mark, if your Hostess buys a $20.00 item (Classic Shell, straps, etc.) that will give her an additional $40.00 in product on the Miche Classic. So for $20.00 she will receive $60.00 in product. On the Max side, for $20.00 she will receive $70.00 in product. Great deal!
2. If all else fails and you cannot convince your Hostess to take the party to the next level, we
will allow the HPR’s to buy an item at full price (max value $300.00) to take the order to the next
level. It is a win‐ win situation for the HPR, Hostess and Miche Bag Canada.
Chargebacks and Exceptions Orders will be processed by Unidem Sales doing business as Miche Canada or Home Party Rep.
Unidem Sales processes all credit card transactions for the customers that attend Miche Parties. The
name that appears on the customer's credit card statement may be "Unidem Sales, Miche Canada or
Home Party Rep" depending on when or how the order is processed. From time to time, Miche Party
customers phone their credit card companies believing the charge on their account to be in error. Even
though we print "Miche Canada is a division of Unidem Sales Inc." on the Miche invoices, customers
don't always remember. Frequently, customers still refuse the charge and we get charged back for the
Party sale of Miche merchandise.
Once we are notified of the chargeback/query from the customer, we provide a copy of the Miche
Invoice to our credit card company and we ask them to forward this on to the originating customer. In
some cases they still refuse the charge. At this point, we pursue this directly with the customer and we
often call on the Miche Rep to help us resolve this with their customer.
It is the Home Party Rep's responsibility to inform their customers of how credit card charges will be
shown on their statements.
19 | P a g e
Your Order Submission Once you have completed your order and have either faxed or emailed it to us, it will be placed in the queue
based on date and time received. We then review your order for accuracy and will process the credit card
payments. If there is a problem with any credit card in your order it may be due to the following reasons;
Declined credit card (A CC will decline if the expiration date is incorrect or there are insufficient funds). Invalid credit card (It is important that the CC information is written down correctly).
We will contact you at this point via phone or email. Your order will be placed on hold until there is a resolution
with any credit card issue(s).
Once your order has been successfully processed, it is then packed and shipped. With every Party order
submitted you will receive new invoices, postcards and brochures. We also include retail bags with every order.
We recommend that all orders be sent to the HPR for distribution. The size of the order will determine whether
we send it by Canada Post or Fedex standard service.
When you receive your order, please review all items for accuracy.
AccountManagers
If you have a problem with your order, be sure to email the Account Manager for your province with all the
details. Our Account Managers are prepared to help our Representatives resolve the issue quickly.

After reviewing the order, please use the supplied retail bags to pack your customer orders. Ensure that your clients receive a copy of
their Miche invoice (this is for warranty issues or refunds) AND copies of their credit card slip (if they used a credit card).
When delivering a clients’ order, take this opportunity to invite them to another Party or suggest the benefits of hosting their own Party.
Remember to retrieve all of your clients email addresses so you may send those updates on new Shells and email Party invitations.

Incentives Miche Canada gives double the Incentives – Reward yourself and your Hostess!
How do they work?
1)PartyOrderIncentives: Party orders that total $300 or more (before taxes and shipping) are
recognized and qualify for incentives! We award Independent Miche Representatives and Hostesses with incentives; the more sales accumulated, the more incentives you and your Hostess will receive.
2)BookingIncentives: If one of your Hostess’s guests books a future party with you (the Independent Miche Representative) – once the Party is booked and considered qualified*, your original Hostess will receive a booking incentive – an accessory! *Qualifying parties are a total of $300+ in net sales (before taxes and shipping).
3)ExclusiveRewardShells: For a limited time only, you can earn exclusive, specially‐designed
Shells that are not available for sale to the general public.
Use them to your advantage!
Use your incentives to build up your Home Party Kit. Having a complete kit will allow the guests to view and feel all the current Shells and accessories. You will have fewer returns when the guest is fully aware of what they are purchasing.
As we retire Shell(s), retire yours. Keep them for your own personal use or sell them.
Once your kits have been built up, use your extra incentives to reward Hostesses, or as gifts for special draws.
Use Shells for charity draws.
Commission Commission is 20 per cent (or 25 per cent if you have referred five active Representatives) of all your net
sales (net being the total of sales NOT including taxes or shipping on all orders). Commission is
processed and sent out on a monthly basis.
21 | P a g e
25 Percent Club The 25% Club is an incentive for Representatives to recruit more Representatives for Miche Canada. For
every active Representative that you sign up you will receive $100.00. When you have five (5) active
Representatives signed up, your commission will rise to 25 per cent. We have added a new feature to
the mix; we will be awarding Representatives with $200.00 for every Representative they sign on
thereafter.
How‐TobecomeaMember
You will be awarded a $100.00 bonus for signing up a new Representative when they have received their kit and have sent in their first party order. Sending in orders shows that a Representative is still active in the program.
Your 5 Representatives must stay active for you to receive your 25 per cent commission (active meaning has had a party within the past four months). If one of your representatives has moved over to the inactive list, you will have to find a new Rep to replace them to keep receiving your extra 5% monthly commission.
Keep your 25% commission by recruiting more than 5 Representatives. It is nice to have a few extra Representatives signed up on your behalf. This will allow you to stay in the 25% bracket longer, if for example, one of your Representatives is not able to continue with the program. As our program develops, your Representatives will remain on your Team.
BuildingyourTeam
For every Representative you sign up after your first 5, you will be awarded $200.00. You will be awarded $200 regardless of whether or not your first 5 have remained active.
22 | P a g e
Out of Town Parties & Applicable Taxes If you are asked as a Representative to do a party out of your province, you need to charge the
applicable taxes for the province that the order is being delivered to. For example, if you live in Ontario
and are visiting relatives in Alberta and your cousin would like to host a party, you would charge the
Alberta tax of 5% on your orders. Where the order is delivered, determines the tax that should be
charged. If you have multiple orders going to different provinces then you must charge the applicable
rate for each province.
Retired and Back Ordered Shells Periodically a Shell will retire and will no longer be available to order. The Shell will officially be “retired” once we have run out of stock. We will give you notice as to how much stock is left of the soon to be retiring Shell. If your customer chooses a retiring Shell, have them pick an alternative Shell just in case the stock has depleted at the time the order is placed. Sometimes this transition happens very quickly so you may get a party order back without the retired Shell. Call your customers and have them choose an alternate Shell and add it to your next party order.
When a Shell has been back ordered it means that we are currently out of stock and will be receiving a new shipment of that Shell in the near future. Once the stock has been replenished, we will send out the back ordered Shells with your party order.
Gift Cards We have gift cards available for sale through our Miche Representatives. Gift cards can come in any denomination with a minimum amount of $25.00. Clients can purchase a gift card to give to anyone, for any occasion!
The gift card form must be filled in and sent into head office via fax, or scanned and emailed to [email protected]. The gift card will then be sent to you to hand off to the client.
Gift Cards will be counted toward your party at the time of purchase. When a Miche Bag customer is redeeming a gift card through you, the amount of the gift card will not count toward your total, however the remaining amount the client pays over the amount of the gift card will be put towards the total.
Gift cards can be purchased as a flat amount (i.e. $50) or in the amount of a kit. When a flat rate is being redeemed, the taxes and shipping will be charged at that time.

The first thing you are selling at an event is you, so put on your "show attitude", smile, be real, be
friendly and above all... be positive!

No matter what size your display is, it needs to be neat, organized and pleasing to the eye. There is so
much to share with Miche but remember an event is different than a Home Party. At an event women
are standing/walking around, usually rushed and often distracted.
You need to:
Quickly catch a woman's eye with an attractive display and a demo of the classic bag (always be
demonstrating taking the Shells on and off)
Explain the Miche concept simply: handbags with interchangeable magnetic covers. Don't forget
the basic demonstration points
Note the different sizes you carry
Note the price and how she may purchase (don't be afraid to ask for the money/order)
Tell her how she may purchase now and/or at a party, have a party lined up that you can invite
her to
Explain how she could earn Miche products by hosting and have a booking calendar on hand so
you can pencil in a possible date
Explain how she could become a Rep and you be her mentor
Exchange contact information
Special Event Goals
Promote your Miche business in the community
Expand your client list
Educate people on the benefits of becoming a Rep and offer yourself as a mentor and team
leader
Get Party Hostess leads (Miche has the best Hostess incentives as our parties are so large!)

Special Event Checklist
Essentials

booth (less product displayed attractively is better than more product cluttered on a table)

Method to Transport Display‐ How will you bring your goods into the Event? (Miche totes,
suitcase with wheels, dolly).
Clip on Lights‐ Very effective to highlight your display (extension cord or power bar)
Display Table‐ Is it provided by the event?
Table Cloth‐ To arrange display
Miche Closet Organizer‐ Makes a great table banner!
Signage‐ See below. These resources are available to you on Member’s Login and can be printed
on standard legal page, can be put in a frame to allow it to stand up right or laminated and laid
flat on your booth table. This can be done at any of your favourite print outlets near you.
