Home Learning Guidance Week beginning 13/07/20
Year 2
This is a guidance document of suggested activities that could be completed at home to support home learning
whilst your child is not in school.
Please refer to our school website and the curriculum pages for specific information for each subject on learning
outcomes related to age related year group expectations.
The activities are only a guide for home learning and could be adapted or extended.
All children have access to online learning. If you have any questions about log ins, please email the school.
Reading
Suggested activities: Independent reading – All children should read daily at home either independently or with an adult, use home reading books. Hearing a story and the language is extremely beneficial. Share any favourite books you have at home. Purple Mash reading activities – Serial Mash – Diamonds – Poppa Joe’s Red Racer - read a chapter daily and complete online activities for each chapter.
