What’s on in class this term with Mrs Johansen?

English In K12 students are involved in some quality texts to improve their writing using their senses. History The history unit is Past and Present Family Life. This topic provides a study of present and past family life within the context of the students' own world. Students learn about similarities and differences in family life by comparing the present with the past. Science Students develop an understanding of how things move. They explore the push and pull forces they can use to move objects in ways such as sliding, bouncing and spinning. Through investigations, students observe and gather evidence about rolling objects and explore the idea of fair testing.

History This terms history unit, Australian Colonies, follows on from our unit last term. Students are learning about how and why colonies developed and some historical events following colonisation. Personal Development Health In PDH students will be learning about their uniqueness and how their bodies change and grow.
