Live Stations of the Cross We are looking for youth, teens, and adults from our parish community to help with the Live Stations of the Cross (Bilingual) that will be performed on Good Friday, March 30, 2018, at 3:00 PM There are very little speaking parts. No experience is required. Our next meeting will be on Sunday, March 18, 2018 at 2:00 PM in the Father Fernandez Center. Vía Crucis en Vivo Buscamos a jóvenes, adolescentes, y adultos de nuestra comunidad parroquial que ayuden con el Vía Crucis en Vivo, que se realizara el Viernes, 30 de Marzo de 2018 a las 3 p.m. No se requiere experiencia. Third Scrutiny Our catechumens are excited about their impending celebration of the Easter Sacraments at our Easter Vigil. Let us keep them close to our hearts as they enter into final, intense preparation for the sacraments. Let us pray.

Good and forgiving God, The Easter Sacraments are drawing near and your children who are preparing for Baptism, Confirmation and Eucharist confess their faith in you.

Help them to strive against worldly desires and rescue them from ignorance of you. Give us courage to walk with them as they approach your altar for the first time and receive you in the Sacrament of the Eucharist.

Help us to be models of Christian life for them and welcome them to the Mystical Body of Christ.

We ask all this in your name, Father, Son and Holy Spirit.

Young Adult Ministry Chalupa Sale Holy Family Young Adult Ministry will be having a Chalupa Sale on Friday, March 23rd from 5:30 PM to 7:30 PM in the Father Fernandez Center. Each plate will be $5.00 and include: 2 Chalupas and

a side of Rice. Drinks and Desserts will also be available for purchase. All proceeds will go towards their Young Adult Encounter Houston Conference. Please support our Young Adults!

Middle School and High School Youth Ministry Calendar

Youth Group Sessions resume Sunday, March 25. All sessions will be held in the Father Fernandez Center from 4 PM to 5:30 PM. Both Public School & Catholic School students who are preparing for Sacraments, please note that it is a requirement for all Sacramental Preparation Students to attend these sessions.

Guadalupana Annual Easter Bingo The Society of Our Lady of Guadalupe will be having their Annual Easter Bingo on Sunday, March 25, 2018, at 7:30 PM in the Father Fernandez Family Center-Cafeteria. Come and try your luck in winning an Easter basket for your loved one. There will be a variety of Food, Desserts, and Drinks for sale at our snack bar. All members of the Society are selling presale tickets for a donation of $3.00 per Bingo Card. There will also be a raffle consisting of 1st Prize: $200.00, 2nd Prize: $150.00, and 3rd Prize: $100.00, you may purchase your raffle ticket from one of our members for a donation of $2.00. Thank You, Jacob Ramos!! A Special Thank You to Boy Scout, Jacob Ramos for installing a new flag pole next to our current one. Jacob also bought a brand new American Flag and a Flag of the State of Vatican City. The meaning of the Vatican City Flag is the two yields divided vertically, yellow field on the staff side and a white field on the other side, which bears the tiara and the keys.

As Catholics, God’s call to us is a call of Service. It is a

call to serve each other by building up his

Kingdom through his Church. The many Ministries of

our Parish are only able to meet the needs of

people because of the generous giving of the Time

and Talent of our parishioners. Even though we live

in a very busy world and there never seems to be

enough time, the call to do God’s work demands that

we give of ourselves in some way. Some

Ministries are very time consuming and others

require less. We ask each family to pray over your call

from God to serve and choose a ministry or two to give

of your Time and Talent to your parish. On April 7/8

each Ministry in our parish will have a tent of

information. You may ask questions about the

Ministry, you are inquiring about. This event will

take place in front of the Church after all the masses.

Please take time to join us for this event.

Como católicos que somos, el llamado de Dios, es un

llamado a servir. Es un llamado a servirnos los unos a

los otros, construyendo su Reino a través de su

Iglesia. Muchos de los Ministerios de nuestra

Parroquia satisfacen las necesidades de la gente,

Talento de nuestros feligreses. Y aunque vivimos en

un mundo muy ocupado donde pareciera no haber

tiempo suficiente, el llamado a hacer el trabajo de

Dios requiere que nos entreguemos de alguna

de nuestro tiempo, mientras otros requieren menos.

Les pedimos a cada familia que pongan en oración el

llamado de Dios para servir y escojan un ministerio o

dos para donar su Tiempo y Talento a su Parroquia.

Los días 7 y 8 de Abril, cada Ministerio de nuestra

Parroquia tendrá un puesto de información, donde

usted podrá hacer preguntas relacionadas con ese

Ministerio. Este evento tendrá lugar enfrente de la

Iglesia y después de todas las misas. Favor de
