A hundred gals gathered to connectand worship on August 18, 2018. WeGET to do it again on Saturday,September 29, 6 pm at CalvaryChapel Tracy. Cookies, coffee & waterwill begin our fellowship at 6 pm. Wehope to see you all there (especially ifyou missed the first one).The theme will be the same: Surrenderplus Release equals Peace as we allowthe Holy Spirit to lead the conversationshad by Program Chairs Nina and
Janette. Claire McKercher will lead us in worship. Nancy Young will return to share adifferent dance to "Thy Will" by Hillary Scott and a new devotion will be shared byMaryAnne Brenkwitz. Kim Krenik (singer and songwriter) will return to bless us with asong. A love offering will be taken. Our prayer room will be open with arms open wide, towelcome anyone who needs prayer or who has praises to share. Altar encountershappened...as tears and laughter resounded the sanctuary. We give all the glory to ourGod of love, grace and mercy. Once again, I pray God's blessing to all who are able tocome on September 29 and experience every GOOD flavor He has planned for an

Scoop Ladies complete round #3 and will startour last round #4 this week
Our team of Scooper's have been at itagain as last week another 21 homeswere scooped with three flavors ofcones. Everyone has played along withthis FUN fundraiser for SMI. We evenaccidentally scooped a wrong addresslast week but the neighbor loved it anddidn't want our Scoop friend to pickupthe signs yet! Now that's what I call:"Sharing His Flavors with others!" Theydefinitely do bring a smile to the facewhen you start your day. Weappreciate all of you who have given todate, through this campaign.
After completing 3 rounds we haveraised an estimated $8,025. Round 4will happen this week as we wrap upthis campaign and store our cones inthe freezer...so they will be ready to goout again in 2019. We only lost acouple that melted! (lol) If you wouldliked to be put on the 2019 list to bescooped, please let us know.

Scoop Ministries, Inc. has assisted 85women and 5 organizations to date since
2008, for a total of$40,027.61.
CPFSJ screens our applicants & gives valuable resource information to those in need. If theapplicant meets SMI guidelines then Janette Koslosky administers the grants. She meets andspeaks with our recipients on behalf of SMI.
The "Flavors of Hope" program provides financial support to local women who may be in ashort-term crisis. All completed SMI grant applications must be submitted to and reviewedby the staff at Community Partnership for Families of San Joaquin (CPFSJ), before SMI willconsider the application.
