Principal’s Update...

In my reflections at the 9:00 Mass last Sunday, I provided some recently received data regarding Holy Spirit School standing on the Diocesan-wide Standardized Testing scale.  I want to make sure everyone knows this good news so I am repeating it here:  In all classes tested at Holy Spirit (3-8), in all subject matters tested, our scores exceeded and in some cases far exceeded the Diocesan average for the 45 schools in the Diocese.

I want to thank all the children that were involved in our Mass last Sunday, especially the alter servers, the wonderful choir members, the lectors and readers and all those who helped with the Open House.  I would also like to thank all the parents who helped at the Open House especially the hard work put in by those planning and operating the Pancake breakfast, Dora Barrientos the Chair of our Enrollment Committee, and all those who were here to welcome newcomers.

Don't forget to get your Crab feed tickets for a great night of good food and fun.  This is our major fundraiser for the year and needs to be as successful as possible to keep our financial position sound.

Peace.

Mr. Gerry Marchi

Our clinics are designed to develop fundamental volleyball skills in young athletes within a fun and positive environment. Both sessions are geared

towards girls and boys of all levels, 5th-8th grade. Each clinic will include instruction and drills for passing,

serving, setting, hitting, ball control and team play. Young players will have an opportunity to learn and

interact with the WHS Coaching Staff and Varsity Teams, with a high staff-to-player ratio.

Our goal is to further develop the quality and availability of youth volleyball in the Fremont area. By giving access and encouragment to young athletes, we can improve

the experience and provide groundwork to an exciting lifelong sport.
