JOURNEY WITH CHRIST

BECOMING CATHOLIC

AT HOLY SPIRIT

Have you thought about getting baptized

but don't know where to begin? Were you

baptized in a Protestant community and

want to find out how to enter into full communion with the Catholic Church?

Perhaps you have lots of questions about the Catholic Faith and want a

safe space to talk things through. No matter where you are coming from,

we want to walk with you on your Journey with Christ!

Holy Spirit Catholic Parish offers a process of preparation for those

seeking to become Catholic, beginning in September. The majority of our

sessions will meet weekly on Wednesday from 7:00 PM -8:30 PM . If you

would like to learn more visit our website at WWW.HSCATHOLIC.ORG/

RCIA or contact Curtis Keddy at [email protected].

Begins Tuesday, September 3

9:00 AM - 11:15 AM

Martha and Mary Room

We will have a 13-week study of “2nd Corinthians” by Steve Ray with

DVD lectures by Fr. Patrick Winslow. In 2nd Corinthians, St. Paul deals

with the on-going problems of the early Church.

Our study includes a 4–part process of home preparation, small group

discussions, a lecture or DVD presentation and review. Costs for materials

will be $20-$22. (Scholarships are available.) For questions or to register,

contact Judy Weeks at [email protected] or call

913.385.0089.

Our Men’s Bible Study will begin Monday, September 9th, at 6:00 AM in the

Martha and Mary Room. This 11-week study on Revelations is led by Jeff

Cavins. Interested? Contact Ryan Wilkerson at 573.356.9474 or

[email protected]
