Mission Statement

We, the parishioners of Holy Spirit Catholic Church,

come together under the guidance of the Holy Spirit

to promote the mission of Jesus Christ by reaching

out in service, fostering Christian growth in our

families and spreading the Gospel of Jesus’ presence

in our community and beyond. We recognize the

fundamental importance of faith, prayer, fellowship

and a call to serve others.

to the printer by Monday prior to the upcoming

weekend. If you have a question contact the office

Reminder: Due to the Privacy (HIPAA) Laws hos-

pitals are not able to notify us if you or a loved one

are admitted to the hospital. A family member must

notify us if you wish for a priest to visit the hospital

or are requesting an e-mailed prayer request.

Confirmation is set for Sunday, March 8th at the

10:30 a.m. Mass. Holy Spirit has 23 young people

being Confirmed this year! Please pick a prayer card

from the basket in the Narthex with the name of one

of our confirmandi and pray for them as they com-

plete their preparation for this sacrament.

The Youth Choir will be singing at the Confirma-

tion Mass on March 8th at the 10:30 a.m. Mass. If

you are in 6th through 12th grade and like to sing

consider joining the Youth Choir. We will be practic-

ing on March 1st from 6:00-7:30 p.m. at the Church.

You must attend practices to sing at Mass. If you

Thinking about Lenten resolutions? Here’s an

idea. The Holy Spirit Parish Council is sponsoring a

6 week series directed toward learning about commu-

nity problems and services available to meet the need.

The second program in the series will take place

March 6th, with the featured subject “Going Green,

Our Responsibility”, led by environmentalist Sandy

Kurtz. The six sessions will be held each Friday eve-

ning during Lent following Stations of the Cross and

a soup and bread supper. Join fellow parishioners for

a unique learning experience and a special way to

spend your Lenten Fridays.

St. Joseph’s Table-Plan to join us on St. Joseph’s
