The Dios de Los
Muertos was a great
success. The altars
were marvelous. The
bands were great and
the food was terrific.
Our celebration gets
better each year.
Thanks to all who
participated and a special thanks to Rocio
Ramirez who organized the whole event.

adults (RCIA)
The RCIA program for adults
who wish to explore the Catholic
faith, or for Adult Catholics who want to
prepare themselves for Confirmation meets
with Fr. Murphy on Wednesday evenings at

Christmas baskets / Holy
Name Food Pantry
With Thanksgiving and
Christmas fast approaching,
our food pantry is in need of
canned goods, cereals, etc. Any
donations are greatly appreciated. Please drop
donations in baskets that are placed in the
church foyer.
The food baskets received from Holy Name
and Good Shepherd Church will be distributed
to THOSE WHO ARE REGISTERED on
December 22nd from 1:00—3:00pm.
Magdalena Romo and the Disciples in
Mission are coordinating. They plan on
distributing to 300 families. Lots of work for
all who wish to be involved.

ADVENT WREATHS AND CANDLES
Our Religious Goods Store will
be ordering advent wreaths and
candles on November 18th.
If you wish to order a wreath, or
just the candles, please order
now. The wreaths range in price
from $10.00 to $20.00. The store is open before
and after each weekend mass.

in our school that we do not
use –desks, chairs, lockers,
etc. I would rather see
someone make use of them
than for us to simply store them. On Saturday,

a garage sale in the school parking lot.

We have 256 students in
Religious Education at the
moment. We have lots more unregistered
children in our church community!
Parents of First Communion children—

your children are in religious Education today,
we have a meeting for the parents in the
Religious Education office.

The Patient Protection
and Affordable Care Act
(PPACA), commonly called
the Affordable Care Act
(ACA) or "Obamacare", is
a United States federal
statute signed into law by President Barack
Obama on March 23, 2010. Together with the
Health Care and Education Reconciliation Act,
it represents the most significant regulatory
overhaul of the country's healthcare system
since the passage of Medicare and Medicaid in
1965.
We will have a presentation on the Patient
Protection and Affordable Care Act after the
weekend masses of December 7th & 8th.
Following the presentation, we will have a
chance to visit with the presenters in the
cafeteria for further discussion and help..
They will also bring computers to help you
sign up if you wish.
