TRANSACTIONAL Holland & Knight has is one of the largest energy transactional practices in the world. We assist with BLT, BOT, BOO, BTO, BOOT, privatization, concession, government finance, PPP and IPP structures, as well as EPC contracts, service and management contracts, operations and maintenance agreements, licenses, leases and similar arrangements.
REGULATORYWe represent energy companies in all aspects of national, state and local regulatory matters. ECT Team
members are trained in traditional cost-of-service ratemaking, as well as more recent competitive regulatory theory. Having worked before EPA, FERC and state PUCs, we tailor regulatory strategies to meet the unique
needs of our clients.
LEGISLATIVEOur ECT Team represents electric utilities and other major energy companies on regulatory, environmental, tax and appropriations legislation before the U.S. Congress and state legislatures. We also work with the White House, state governors and executive branch agencies at the state and federal level on energy and environmental policy.
