Calling all comedians!Do you think you have what it takes to be a stand-up comedian like Louis C.K.? Come test your skills and perform your best stand-up comedy routine at Hofstra’s Stand-up Comedy Contest!

Date: Thursday, September 8, 2011Time: 7-10 p.m.

Location: Student Center Theater, Sondra and David S. Mack Student Center, North Campus

Grand Prize: • A private meeting with Louis C.K. after his comedy show, Out Loud – One Night Only With Louis C.K.!, during Fall Festival Weekend on Saturday, September 24, 2011, at the David S. Mack Sports and Exhibition Complex, North Campus. • A one-on-one meeting with comic agent Andrew Russell of the APA Agency. • A spot at New York City’s famous Caroline’s on Broadway.

To audition, you must be a current Hofstra student with a valid HofstraCard. Each contestant will have 1-5 minutes to perform, and can be interrupted by the judges!
