Students pursuing studies in the following subjects are eligible to apply.

In order to grant loans to eligible students of your University and campuses, in this regard we have already invited application from students of Public Sector Universities and their campuses from 24th June 2018 and last date of submission of application to the designated branches Is 31st August 2018.

The Scheme is being administrated by a high-powered committee (Apex Committee) headed by the Deputy Governor, State Bank of Pakistan and the President of NBP, HBL; UBL, MCB and ABL and the Deputy Secretary, (GOP). The State Bank of Pakistan has assigned National Bank of Pakistan to operate and act as Administrator of the Scheme.

A Oarz-e-Hasna Scheme has been re-launched under the name "Student Loan Scheme" by the Government of Pakistan in collaboration with the major commercial banks of Pakistan with a view to extend financial help by way of mark-up free loans to the meritorious students without sufficient resources for pursuing scientific, technical and professional education within Pakistan. The Scheme came into force in November, 2001.

It is further advised that last date of submission of application is 315t August 2018 and student must be obtained acknowledgement from concerned branch at the time of submission of application for future references.

We are also enclosing copy of the "Advertisement" published in the dailies on 24th June 2018 for proper display on the notice board of your University, campuses and faculty, department.

The Universities and their campuses have moral obligations for the correctness of particulars mentioned in the Application Form for the respective institution.

1. Certificate from the Vice Chancellor/Principal/Registrar must be on the institution letter head.

2. Ensure that each column and blank space of bonafide certificate proforma enclosed have been filled properly and clearly according to requirement i.e. i) Date of Admission, ii) Subject, iii) Duration of Course, iv) Last public examination results, v) Present year of study.

3. Matric, Intermediate Certificate, Graduation & Post Graduation Degree.

4. Details marks sheet of the last Public Examination passed.

5. In case, if the Parent(s)/Guardian are in service, the income certificate must be from the employer. For the rest it should be obtained from the Area Councilor of Union Council.

6. Attached photocopies of Domicile and CNIC of parents and applicants.

Each applicant must submit the application on the prescribed form in duplicate, complete in all respect and must be supported by attested copies mentioned below:-

The Vice Chancellor/Registrar/Principal are requested to follow the below mentioned guidelines, while attesting/verifying the document and issuing a bonafide certificate to the applicants.

The notion of Students Loan Scheme is primarily aimed at financing only those talented students who have insufficient means and can not pursue their studies due to financial constraints. We, therefore, request you to please select and recommend only those talented students whose parents are really unable to finance the studies of their sons/daughters.
