Dear Neighbor:Hoboken is a vibrant and exciting City. It is energeticand diverse, reflecting our entire nation's fabric as awhole. I truly believe that Hoboken is one of the pre-mier communities in New Jersey and throughout themetropolitan region. As Mayor, it gives me greatpleasure to provide a dynamic choice of free outdoorcultural and recreational opportunities to the residents ofour wonderful community.
I am proud to present our 7th annual Summer Fun calendar of events, withofferings that provide something for everyone. Programs such as MoviesUnder the Stars, Art in the Park, group exercise, team sports, Shakespeare inthe Park, concerts in Sinatra Park and Church Square Park, and family funnights make sure Summer Fun adds a spark to everyone's summer season.
Outdoor recreation and cultural enrichment opportunities in our urban oasisadd to our quality of life. It is imperative that we provide recreational andentertainment activities that benefit all our residents. This administrationcontinues to provide first class leisure opportunities for children ages5 to 15 years old.
Summer Fun offers something for everyone. That is the goal of our freesummer program as we continually expand our recreational and culturalopportunities to meet the needs and desires of all our residents.
Mayor David Roberts
