  • AllenheadAtypeofscreworboltheadthatisdesignedforusewithanAllenwrench.

    AllenheadboltAboltwithahexagonalrecessintheheadrequiringanAllenwrench,oftenusedinwoodworkingmachinery,amongmanyotherthings.ThesemaybeinmetricorSAEsizes.Theseareusuallymadeoutofstrongsteel,butoccasionallyyoumayfindtheminlightergradesteelorevenaluminum.Allenheadrecessesarealsousedextensivelyinsetscrews.Othernamesforthisitemare"socketcapscrew","socketscrew",and"socketheadcapscrew".Examples:

    AllenwrenchAtypeofwrenchthatisahexagonalshapedmetalbar,usuallyintheshapeofan"L"butsometimesintheshapeofa"T"andsometimeswithahandlelikewhatyoufindonascrewdriverbutmoreoftenwithahandleonthe"T"portion,usedtoturnAllenheadboltsandsetscrews.ThesemaybeinmetricorEnglishsizesandaresoldbothinsetsandindividually.Examples:
