On the heels of its success in Palma di Majorca, the formula for Hotel Zhero properties arrives in the snowy region of Austria’s Tyrol. Jens Liebhauser skillfully weaves his passion for fashion and design into the creation of this prestigious hotel located in the famous ski resort of Ischgl Kappl. The project’s underlying philosophy marries modern design and alpine tradition, and the results are aesthetically refined elegance and reflect the warmth and comfort of hospitality. A broad and varied selection of rooms, suites and apartments are available, some of which were furnished with elements chosen from the Minotti collection. In detail, the Penthouse Suites feature the Van Dyck table and Twombly chairs, the Powell sofa, with Prince armchair and Riley coffee tables and Warren side tables. The bedroom is furnished with the Powell bed, Clyfford writing desk and the York little armchair.

Surrounded by the lush tropical vegetation of Saint Barths in the French Antilles, Castle Rock villa was designed to offer exclusive vacations to selected guests from all over the world. For the space around the perimeter overflow swimming pool and the suite terraces, the choice fell on several seating arrangements from the Alison Iroko Outdoor and Warhol Iroko Outdoor armchair collections. The seat structures are basic and essential and in Iroko, a particularly resistant wood that is naturally waterproof and therefore well-suited for outdoor use.

The Met Hotel is a 5-star hotel designed by the Zege Architects practice for the Chandris group. Inaugurated in 2010 and located in the port of Thessaloniki, it is a fine example of an urban redevelopment project. The building blends in seamlessly with the sea and port, which are visible from the large windows that open out on each floor. The communal spaces offer a continuum of comfortable lounge areas and reading corners, with several vistas of the internal Mediterranean garden. Many works of art play up the “museum” personality of the hotel and make for a modern use of the communal spaces, many of which have been furnished with seating and coffee tables from the Minotti collection: the Hamilton Island sofas, the Calder and Leger coffee tables, the Davis pouf.

The Clarion Hotel Arlanda Airport is a modern, functional building, designed to meet the needs and suit the sophisticated tastes of its international clientele. Crowning glory of the hotel is the 12th floor “Kitchen&Table” restaurant, with interior design by Bjorken Architects, who chose to furnish it with the Flavin little armchairs and the Coley armchairs, both designed by Rodolfo Dordoni.

Located in Marmaris, a well-known tourist destination on Turkey’s coastline, the D-Hotel Maris is a modern, sophisticated resort, surrounded by luxuriant greenery. The hotel’s interior design is the work of Hasan Mingu, of the Midek – Mingu Studio, who chose many furniture products from the Minotti catalog, in partnership with Modabagno Interni. Specifically, furnishings for some of the rooms, suites and the executive club lounge include the Tatlin-Soft bed, Donovan sofa, Jensen, Coley and Warhol Black Lac. armchairs, Van Dyck table and many other complementary pieces.

Recently completed in the popular Austrian ski area is the interior design project for the “Hahnenkamm Lodge Kitzbühel”, an elegant lodge with direct access to the slopes and outfitted with every comfort and the highest level of services, ensuring guests an exclusive vacation. The architecture of the lodge fits harmoniously with the Alpine tradition and makes ample use of wood and stone, creating a warm and elegant atmosphere, rendered even more luxurious by the inclusion of many furnishing items selected from the Minotti collection. The living areas - that enjoy an enviable view of the surrounding mountains - were furnished with Andersen Slim sofas and benches; in front of the fireplace are Portofino armchairs covered in a rich shade of red, the same color chosen for the Aston little armchairs that surround the table in the spacious dining room. Completing the décor of the suites are Fulton writing desk with Flynt little armchairs, Prince armchair, Davis pouf and Riley side tables with marble top and leather-covered frame.

A regeneration project by the Zege Architects practice has transformed a hotel built in the 70’s into a modern, sophisticated resort in just eight months. Located near the Acropolis, Fresh Hotel aims to offer guests a modern and fresh aesthetic experience, which lends the hotel its name. The contemporary, minimal taste of the furnishings gives them an urban, cool feel. For the lounge area, iconic pieces from the Minotti collection imbued with a strong personality such as the sculptured Hockney seats, accompanied by the Caulfield and Kitaj coffee tables. The two Botero poufs upholstered in a red fabric add a vibrant touch to the whole.

Recently opened in the heart of the Austrian capital is Shiki, a sophisticated Japanese restaurant considered an authentic landmark by those with a serious passion for Japanese cuisine. The project was curated by BEHF Corporate Architects, which used a form of sensual minimalism to craft a space that blends Asian tradition and a cosmopolitan spirit. Adjacent to the kitchen (open to the dining room), is the bar area, comfortably furnished with little armchairs and chairs from the Aston collection, upholstered in an elegant shade of green.

Melbourne is a city that is proud of its past but very future-oriented. The urban landscape feeds itself on projects that are designed to bridge the past with the present. The “171 Collins Street” building – signed by the Bates Smart practice – is located in a historical area abutting on the neo-Gothic cathedral of Saint Paul. This is why the project opted for non-intrusive, visually light materials such as white glass for the facade cladding. The building is mainly a commercial space with a large number of stores but also of hospitality areas. For the spacious lounge at the entrance of the building in front of the concierge, with its precious travertine-clad walls, two seating arrangements with Alison sofas and Jensen armchairs. The lobby area leads to a second reception area, this too with Jensen armchairs and York little armchairs.

The Kunstmuseum in Lucerne is located inside the KKL Luzern (Culture and Convention Center), a multi-functional building designed by the acclaimed French architect, Jean Nouvel, which also includes an auditorium as well as several rooms set aside for exhibits and cultural events. Envisioned as a comfortable, intimate meeting space where visitors feel welcome, the foyer is also the place to go for a cup of coffee or a visit to the bookstore. The foyer itself reflects the decorative tastes of Swiss artist, Urs Luthi, who furnished the area with the refined and equally comfortable Aston “Lounge” little armchairs and chairs and Bellagio “Lounge” tables.

The Russian Premier League FC Krasnodar football association recently completed construction of its major new “Chetuk” training compound, named after the river that runs nearby. Together, the buildings and pitches occupy a surface area of more than 3000 sq. m in a pristine location known for its mild climate. The project was designed by the MAXIM RYMAR architectural firm. In keeping with the ideal of seamless integration with the surrounding landscape, the authors of the project designed a top-of-the-line sports structure, conceived as a sophisticated but totally comfortable setting for the players. The spacious, light-filled residential cottage lobby provided the perfect backdrop for the Smith Lounge System and White sofas, accompanied by Sullivan and Neto coffee tables. Klee sofas, paired with Sullivan coffee tables, were selected to furnish the foyer in the main building.

Founded in Melbourne in 1885, Maddocks lawyers boasts a lengthy history and time-honored tradition. Renovation of their offices in Sydney was entrusted to HASSELL, which crafted a project designed to integrate the spaces as both a workplace and a client reception area, creating a warm, comfortable setting. The lounge area occupies the lower floor and was furnished with numerous pieces from the Minotti collection: Sherman sofas and Brooks armchairs upholstered in dark brown leather, York “Lounge” little armchairs, paired with the Starr and Cesar side tables.

The ANZ center in Melbourne, built for the ANZ banking colossus, rises on the banks of the Yarra River and affords office space for more than 6,500 employees. The project was designed by the HASSELL architectural design practice, which created a flexible, open space where areas serving different functions flow from one into another. HASSELL and Dedece, owner of the two Minotti monobrand stores in Australia, selected the Pasmore armchairs, designed by Gordon Guillaumier, to furnish some of the lounge areas.

In an area where unrivalled property development is the norm, the stunning 5-tower Etihad complex stands head and shoulders above, not only in terms of its design qualities but also thanks to the stature of each building, making it one of the most emblematic architectural projects in Abu Dhabi. The lounge area of the panoramic Observation Deck in Tower Two commands unparalleled views that encompass the entire coastline. It is furnished with tastefully refined Blake-Soft armchairs upholstered in beige leather and paired with Huber coffee tables with chrome structure and luxurious onyx tops.

Prestigious menswear label Corneliani chose a number of iconic pieces from the Minotti collection for its showroom in Milan’s via Montenapoleone, such as the Portofino armchairs and Hamilton sofa. These pieces meld seamlessly with the totally bespoke project – by the Poddaponti Architetti practice and developed by Ermesponti – to underline the brand’s custom-tailored feel. Exclusive hides by Minotti were used for the VIP room walls, with a special ribbed motif, and give a touch of sophisticated elegance to the whole.

Podium Status Store is a multi-brand men’s high fashion clothing boutique, dedicated almost entirely to Italian brands. Located in the Kazakh capital’s main square, Podium attracts a highly sophisticated clientele. The 400 sq. m boutique flows across a series of partially open, communicating spaces. Each sales area has its own salon. To underline the quality and elegance of Italian fashion and design, the Klee armchairs upholstered in Pony Look leather and the Capri pouf covered in dark brown leather were included to enhance the furnishing project.

The “Watches of Switzerland” store on Regent Street is the largest showroom in Europe dedicated to the display and sale of luxury watches manufactured by the most distinguished brands. The store occupies three floors and offers visitors and buyers unparalleled service through consultation with highly-qualified staff and an array of extraordinary watches in a tastefully designed and elegantly furnished setting. Several products from the Minotti collection - including the Smith bench and Jensen armchairs, both upholstered in soft leather, and the Calder coffee tables with tops in ebony and Black Marquinia marble - were selected to furnish some of the viewing rooms.

The audacious personality of the Benetti Class Fast Displacement - Veloce 140’ yacht stems not only from the technological innovations of its hull and propulsion systems, but also from the style refinements that differentiate its design and furnishings. The Tuscan shipbuilder put the interior design decisions in the hands of well-known Brazilian architect, João Armentano. Among the luxurious materials employed are wood, in various shades of grey, silver lacquer and details in satin-finish steel. Furnishings for the expansive living room include an inviting arrangement of the Hamilton seating system and Capri armchairs, accompanied by Sullivan and Brice coffee tables.

Minotti took an active part in furnishing Sanlorenzo’s “SL104” yacht, launched in conjunction with the International Boat Show in Genoa. The spaces were designed by Dordoni Architetti to allow, for the first time, concepts typical of contemporary living to be applied to the boat world.
