Haath Mein Sehat (HMS) is a non-government organizationsituated in Hubli. It is international collaboration betweenUniversity of California Berkeley and Deshpande FoundationHubli, which strives to improve the health of low income slum

communities in Hubli urban slums. Currently we run HygieneEducation program and Soap Infrastructure in 15 localgovernment schools.

Dear Sir/Mam, HMS is organizing Cricket Tournament forcorporate on 3rd and 10th March 2012. Matches will be

played only on Sundays. People from different sectors areparticipating in this tournament. This tournament is not just fora fun, but to have network with the people, enjoying thegame with a real sporting spirit and employees will feeldifferent atmosphere.

19th century India. Captain Russell (Paul Blackthorne), the

vicious commanding officer of a British cantonment, oppresses

the people of the region with high taxes (lagaan) while they are

also suffering under an unusual drought. Impulsively, Russell

offers the peasants of nearby village Champaner a wager: he

will cancel the taxes of the whole province for three years if avillage team can beat his men at cricket-a sport hitherto

unknown to the villagers. Led by the courageous Bhuvan

(Aamir Khan) and helped by the officer's good-hearted sister

Elizabeth (Rachel Shelley), the villagers start training for thecricket match that will decide their fate.

Health for All The health of a nation is difficult to define in terms of a single set of measures. At

best, we can assess the health of the population by taking into account

indicators like infant mortality and maternal mortality rates, life expectancy and

nutrition, along with the incidence of communicable and non-communicable

diseases.

A major focus of vision 2020 must be on improving access to health services to

meet the health care needs of women and children.

Criteria for a More Equitable and Effective Health Care System

Universal access and access to an adequate level of health care without

financial burden.

Fair distribution of financial costs for access and fair distribution of burden in

rational care and capacity.

Ensuring that providers have the competence, empathy and accountability for

delivering

quality care and for effective use of relevant research.

Special attention to vulnerable groups such as women, children, the disabled

and the aged.

Each team should have 11 + 4 players extra

Players should be from the particular company or organization

12 over match from each innings

Standard rules and regulations will be followed

Tennis ball will be used

Playing ground will be in Railway ground.

On 3rd & 10th June

Registration fees is 3500 Rs*

Only cheque is acceptable in favor of HMS

Matches will be played ONLY ON SUNDAYS.

Matches will be knock out system

Noteregistration amount is tax exemption under IT sec 80G
