Vardy Mining & Waterproofing was established in 2009. After 7 years of intense research and development of NuROCK, with our focus on the mining industry. NuROCK has been specifically manufactured to enhance safety, prevention of rock falls in mines.

From NuRock the NuSeal Waterproofing product was developed due to popular demand for a good quality, long lasting, easy application and economical waterproofing product.

PORTFOLIONuSEAL WATERPROOF & Damp seal; NuSEAL was developed as a one pack application coating which is membrane structured and is completely water resistant and non toxic when dry. The product carries strength of 3MPA bonding on cement and is UV resistant. Because of its composition it is hard wearing and has excellent weather capabilities. It remains flexible and can be used on most substrates e.g. Steel, concrete, expansion joints, sealing of dams, Stainless Steel, Wood, Floors, Walls, and cement Ceilings and has excellent resistance to acid and alkaline NuSeaL is easily applied by compressed air at 6 bar pressure. A 0.5 to 2 mm thickness as waterproofing or rubber coating. It can be sprayed into the smallest cracks, corners and can also be brushed on small areas. Easily repaired by just brushing over or just spraying over damaged or warn areas but no need to remove damaged NuSeaL.

NuSeaL seal: Roofs, Slabs, Dams (Sink, Concrete), Basements, Man Holes, Sewerage Dams, Ponds, Building Maintenance and Construction.Insulation: NuSeal has a very good insulation property. On a 26°C day the temperature on a sink roof was 44°C but on the roof that had NuSeal applied, the temperature was only 22°C. A reduction of 50%.,

NuSeaL has NO JOINTS, therefore water can run easily to the draining points.

It converts unstable iron oxide to iron phosphate, thus providing a sound substrate for factory maintenance purposes especially where blast cleaning and other methods of surface preparation are impracticable. On “Pitted” steelwork even if re brushed you will still leave rust behind but an application of Rustcon will transform the rust to iron Phosphate thus alleviating the problem that the rust

creeps.

Application ProcessNuRocK and NuSeaL is applied with air @ 6 bar pressure.

The work surface is cleaned by just blowing it with air or washed with high pressure washer, followed by an application of primer which will absorb any small particles of dust. Primer is also the bonding agent on the different surfaces and requires approximately 15 -20 minutes drying time - only if required.

NuSeaL / NuReaK standard application of 1-3 layers depending of surface may require a 2 to 2.5mm thickness i.e. Mining Sector.
