Scope

This regulation covers vehicle’s service centers and repair shops at fixed

facilities or through provision of a mobile services to provide repair and

maintenance services for light vehicles

Its Classify workshops and service centers according to specific criteria to five

levels of service depending on the stars system i.e. 1-5 Stars

Goals and objectives

• To be part of the legislative system for vehicles and transportation

• Standardization the levels of garage quality in UAE

• Provide a safe working environment for the workers / employees

• Increase customer happiness

• Reduce traffic accidents and roads fatalities

• Improve the level of skills and qualification of the workers and employee in this field

Workshops Classification Criteria

The rating is classified from one star to five stars according to the following equation:

T = TS + P 1. For the points (P ) : - Add points (P) if only one service or repair.

- Add the average value of points (P) if provides more than one repair.

2. For the calculation of points (TS):

TS = A + B + C + D + E + F The values of sy ols A, B, C, D, E, F are al ulated after the e tity is assessed a ordi g to the criteria specified in each of the tables.
