NOTES FROM THE GRAND LINE From GRM Naomi & GRP Bill…..
Dear Honored Ladies and Sir Knights, On Saturday evening March 10, 2018 Oregon Grand Court honored us with the highest
honor that we could receive…being installed as your Grand Royal Matron and Grand Royal Patron. We were so please to see
so many people there as we assumed the Throne. With the love and support of the members of Oregon, we promise to do
our very best to follow in the footsteps of HL Sue Mills and SK Rod Lippert. We thank them for all of their hard work,
dedication and the many accomplishments made during their year as Grand Royal Matron and Grand Royal Patron. Our 1st
Installation will be March 24 at Cherry Court in Salem at 1:30 pm. Refreshments will be served afterwards. The next day we
will be at Mirror Court in Bend for lunch at 12:30 pm, followed by their Installation at 2:00 pm. Please keep reading the
newsletter for future Installation information. The Warrior Dash has been confirmed…we will work the morning shift on May
19 at Pat’s Acres in Canby, Oregon. More information will follow. Please put it on your calendar. If a member is in need of
some cheer, HL Maryann Lundy has agreed to be chair for this next year. Please notify her so that she can send out
appropriate cards. If you have agreed to be a chair for a Grand Court Committee, please ask members to help you and let
the Grand Royal Matron know their names so they can be printed in the directory. We are very excited about this year as we
begin our “Walk in the Garden of Life”. I leave you with this final message. “Amaranth friends are the flowers in our Garden
of Life”. As you join us on our journey, take time to see the beauty that surrounds you. It really is a beautiful world we live

From GC Patti… TRAVEL - Installation season will be underway very soon. We begin the season with Cherry Court on Saturday March 24th
and then over the mountain to Mirror on Sunday March 25th. Please come join those of us who will be traveling to Bend on
the 24th and spending the night. Below is hotel information:

Grand Court of Oregon - the other jurisdictions will certainly be calling us "Outstanding Oregon" after you all worked so hard that we could present $18,624.46 to the Amaranth Diabetes Foundation!!!! Thanks to every member who purchased a raffle ticket, a 50/50 ticket, a quilt ticket, an ornament, a cruise cabin, golfed, bowled, or made a donation of any size -- it all adds up to a tremendous showing for Oregon Grand Court. You can all be proud of yourselves as SK Rod and I certainly are! Thank you, thank you, thank you for all your support this year.

As chairman of Warrior Dash, I just received confirmation that we have the 6:00am - 12:30pm shift on May 19th at Pat's Acres in Canby.
We need 25 volunteers to work. It's early, but will not be as hard of work as we did last year.
