. The Fourth Grade Teachers Welcome to Hale Kula 4th Grade. I am excited to be starting a new adventure as the Blended Learning 4th Grade Teacher! There are so many technology tools I am enjoying learning about and can't wait to share. It has been a busy summer for me visiting family and hiking on the mainland. Exploring Oahu waters through surfing, snorkeling, and canoe paddling has been a highlight also. I can't wait to hear about your summer too and to begin our journey of learning this year! See you soon! Mrs. Linford Aloha! It has been amazing teaching here at HKES. Fourth Grade is a fantastic experience. In my leisure time, I enjoy playing the ukulele, gardening and playing Boggle and Bejeweled Blitz on the Internet. This summer I travelled to the Big Island for a family reunion. I am looking forward to another great year. Go Eagles, Soar High! Ms Todd This will be my 9th year teaching Fourth Graders here at Hale Kula. I am still learning so many new things and I wonder what I will learn from this year’s class! This summer I traveled to Montreal, Canada via NYC. I got to revisit many places and even visited the Ben and Jerry Ice Cream Factory in Vermont! I am planning to have great Tech experiences with my students and families this year! Ms Durante Summer is a time for fun and relaxation. Each day was filled with running, the beach and my favorite movies. I also traveled to Moloka‘I . It was a wonderful experience. The culture is enlightening and the lifestyle is necessary. I look forward to the upcoming school year and getting to know everyone! Ms Kaneshiro Aloha from one of your teachers from last year! I thoroughly enjoyed teaching 3rd graders last year and now I am fortunate to be with 4th graders. This summer was filled with adventures such as traveling to California for river rafting and camping with family and friends. It’s great to be back home. See you soon! Cheryln Cole Aloha! Welcome back to school! I am excited to have the opportunity to work with Fourth Grade again this year. This summer was spent with my three children, one who just graduated from Infantry Officer Basic Course in June! I hope that you all had a wonderful summer as I did. I look forward to an incredible year of learning! Tami Sego Aloha! I spent my summer fishing, surfing and hiking these islands. I visited family on Maui. I took a week long hiking trip on Kaua‘i and also spent many days enjoying O‘ahu’s beauty. I am eagerly looking forward to another great year at HKES! Mr. Hanson I have enjoyed working at Hale Kula. I enjoy working with students in all grade levels but I especially enjoy working with our Fourth Graders and the Fourth Grade Curriculum. In my free time, I love to dance hula. I am looking forward to getting to know all of the Fourth Graders this year. Mrs. Kai My name is Lee Noto and I am originally from Boynton Beach, Florida. I recently moved here to teach the keiki of Hawaii. I earned my undergraduate degree from the University of Central Florida, Orlando, FL in Business and Spanish. I will be completing my graduate degree at the University of Hawaii in Education. I am very excited for the new school year and cannot wait to meet all of my students and parents! Lee Noto

The Fourth Grade Teachers
