The Journey – 18yrs.

The Director Mr. Naveen Mehta started his career by working in various FMCG companies, which are now Giants oftoday’s FMCG sector. To name a few, Parle, HUL, are the two amongst other’s. His forte was the distribution business ofthe FMCG products for these companies.

Over the time, he noticed the growth in the Hospitality Industry, and there he tried his luck by working in few chain ofHotel..He as a human likes travelling & his work in this industry made him think about his future plans to start up with aCompany where he can organize the Tour’s for corporate’s and sell the holiday packages to them. In the year 1997,he gotinto the hospitality business where HKB Group known as the parent name of the company came into existence.Country Roads – The Travel Manager as a company is a part of HKB group which was the initial step taken by ourdirector in the year 1997 itself. The company got incorporated as a Pvt. Ltd. firm in the year 2001.The company picked up the growth & the competition in the industry very fast & started pitching for corporate businesson a large scale. By God’s grace the company got associated with esteemed companies like Bharti Airtel, HUL, Parle,etc..

Since, the day to day interaction for developing business under Country Roads Hospitality used to be with the HRpersonnel in any corporate, with a span of time slowly and gradually he moved in the Human Resource sector too.Their came the Incorporation of Velocity Consulting Services Pvt. Ltd. in the year 2003. Which as a company providesmanpower to different corporate starting from Lower to Higher level.

The competition in the industry amongst various other MICE companies still didn’t stop, which made our Director re-think on all together a different strategy of building up a One-Stop solution for all the event and hospitality needs. Hethen decided add one more division as a part of the company which will take care of all the event managementrequirement of our corporate clients.Then came the incorporation of Country Roads Entertainment Pvt. Ltd. in the year 2010, which is a new arm to HKBgroup.
