THE INVASION’S PROLOGUE

In the day of June 22, 1941, the invasion had began.

Hitler’s army invaded the soviets even though they have the largest army in the world, they weren’t ready for an ambush.

Their army (soviets) weren’t well equipped or trained.

So basically even though the soviets have a large army, it’s just for show.

GERMAN’S LEADING THE WAR

Hitler’s army invaded nearly 500 miles of the Soviet Union.

The soviets were running away using a strategy to burn everything in their path.

This strategy was previously used against Napoleon.

Hitler had the upper hand later on by putting Leningrad under restriction.

PEOPLE OF SOVIET UNION SUFFER

More than 2.5 million soviet people starved from Hitler bombing their food production factories.

They began eating cattle and horse feed, cats, dogs, crows, and worst of all… rats.

UNITED STATES… RESCUERS

They didn’t want to interfere in the war, but were drawn into the war by the fall of their allies.

They sold American arms to their allies but were taken by their own ships in 1939.

Both Americans and British had sailed on their ships with American arms.

Hitler ordered his subs to sink any ship in its way.

THE ATLANTIC CHARTER

Upheld free trade among nations and people can choose their own government.

It served as the allies’ peace plan at the end of WWII.

A U-submarine destroyed one of the U.S. ships and lit up a naval war between Hitler and the U.S.
