    ApplicationHiTEC® 9858 is a new additive technology designed to meet the latest ILSAC GF-5 and API SN industry requirements. HiTEC® 9858 is designed for the manufacture of all ILSAC and non-ILSAC viscosity grades in a wide range of industry basestocks in conjunction with HiTEC® 5751 OCP VI Improver (50 SSI) of HiTEC® 5754 OCP VI Improver (35 SSI).

    Honda FE Test Data, 2.7% Improvement - Real World Data

    In back-to-back real world testing at Afton's Ashland facility, the SAE 5W-30 formulation delivered 2.7% improved fuel economy over a standard SAE 15W-40 engine oil.

    Wear control in the Sequence IIIG engine test demonstrates that fuel economy is not delivered at the expense of durability.
