• Hitachi (via ICTL) is Partner in the AutoNet2030 project.

• Autonet2030 is a 3-years PJ sponsored by the EU Commission.

• The PJ aims to research & validate procedures and algorithms for interaction control among co-operative vehicles, including both automated & manually driven vehicles.

• C2X technologies brought by ICTL are of core importance for Autonet2030

The context is the 2020-2030 deployment time horizon:

Project specifications will be contributed to the standardization of

cooperative ITS at ETSI and CEN.

Adapting technologies, products, services, technical know-how in working with big data, security

technologies taking into account the patient privacy and the experience of working within the

healthcare space in Japan, Hitachi is bringing cutting-edge “Made in Japan” technology to the NHS GM.

Enhancement of healthcare with the use of IT in Greater Manchester

The start of POC projects in Salford, Greater Manchester (Oct/2013 ~ )

Developing the capability of integrating, exchanging and analyzing healthcare data securely through

federated data platform, which would enable a variety of healthcare services to run off it.

1. Secure healthcare data platform

2. Life-style related diseases prevention programme

Support and enhance the ongoing disease prevention activity with the use of IT for people with

impaired glucose tolerance at risk of diabetes as the first target.

Starting 2 two-years POC projects from Oct 2013

Hitachi, in which EBDL takes initiative, is working with the NHS GM in developing a new

model for building on skills and experiences from the medical field, and applying them to

preventative medicine.

Contribute to Hitachi’s business growth,

Use R&D activity as leverage for business incubation.

Enabling leading-edge physics to contribute to ICT innovation.

To continue technology trends in advanced

electronics we need a continuous flow from basic

physics to device manufacture

Since it was founded in 1874, the Cavendish Laboratory has been at the forefront of discovery in physics. The core of the Laboratory’s programme has been, and continues to be, experimental physics, supported by

excellence in theory. The policy of the Department is to maintain a very powerful core of fundamental physics in

all its diversity.
