Darpanet is the grandfather of the internet we use today.

Leonard Kleinrock published a paper on Packet Switching Theory.

In 1965, the first Wide Area Network (WAN) was born allowing more computers to link with the network.

In 1966, the Darpanet was obsolete and it was replaced with Arpanet. This was made possible because of the packet switching theory.

Regular people had no idea such an invention has been created and to those who heard about it, had no clue how to access it.

In 1990 Sir Tim Barnes-Lee developed a simple software that listed down all the websites around UK, US & France. The software allowed a user to key in a search string and the software will filter the results.

That same year, 1990, a group of techies from Illinois who had access to the ARPANet asked a simple question what would the world be like if everyone had access to the network?

It was on that day, Netscape changed the world, and from APRANet, it quickly changed to International Network The Internet.
