History of the genre

The thriller genre is a very large genre and has been used for many years and has been in literature for longer though over the years there has been a lot of thriller movies which covers nearly all subgenres.Some movies the thriller genre includes are the james bond series, the dark knight rises, looper and many more, this genre has changed and developed over time and the films have got a lot more cunning and entertaining to a wider audience and this has allowed many more movies to be made like the entire james bond serious that has been going for the longest amount of time in a series with many different actors playing the main character and also the dark knight rises which is a new series to the thriller genre and is the new batmanOver the years the genre has changed from the 1920’s to the present day thriller movies have evolved with technology and with what can be done with the movie like futuristic or fiction thrillers like Jurassic park which took advantage of CGI throughout the entirety of the movie.Some thriller movies from the 1920’s are The Lodger , Jack the Ripper and another is called BlackmailAnd thriller movies progress to the current day using technology to reach greater effects for the movie like CGI or when color in movies was first getting used in the 50’s.
