What is it MEANT by Record?

Capturing data or converting information to a format on a storage is a procedure of Record.

Definition of Record- Record or The Record may mean: An item or collection of data: * Data storage device that contains data (more specifically audio data) ** Gramophone record (also called "phonograph record"), mechanical storage medium ** Album - "Records" often used as general slang for albums * Record (computer ... - providing permanent evidence of or information about past events.

For Example: Cave Paintings- Scientist have said ‘Cave drawings discovered in caves in south-west France are some of the oldest ever found.’

PrintSumer, Egypt, India, China, and Mesoamerica are the first 5 civilizations country to have the early form of print such as Cave Painting and Paintings.Writing started as a political expansion in ancient Cultures for transmitting information or maintaining financial account. It is known that writing became a steady method of recording around the 4 th millennium BC. Both Mesoamerica and Ancient Egypt have progressed through calendric and a political need for recording historical and environmental events.
