Hidden history of the World, Facts vs. MythsAs the title explains I am presenting before you some interesting facts in the history of the world

in relationship with the Indian Subcontinent and how India is the source of all religions,

cultures, languages and civilizations. There are many unknown facts which are being purposely

hidden from the general masses by terming those as mythologies. Thus the cunning historians,

material and social scientists of the western world in order to establish their theories to be true,

logical and faultless denounced or falsified many facts from the Indic Aryan scriptures such as

SrimadBhagvatam, Bhagvad Gita and other Vedic literatures as fiction or mythologies which

were infact real, correct, logical and truthful as their origin was in the Vedic scriptures (which

are unborn or Apaurusheya). At the start of each Mahayuga in Satyayuga, followed by the other

3 yugas (Treta, Dwapar and Kali), in each Manvantar which is equivalent to 71.4 Mahayugas

(Epoch of Manu) and Kalpa – in which 14 Manus appear (a day of Bramha), religion, culture,

language and civilization is first conceived by the Aryan sages (Bhrugu, Atri, Agastya, Gautama,

Vashishtha, Pulaha, Pulastya, Angiras, Jamadagni, Kardama, Kashyapa, Kapila, Narada and

Daksha.) and their descendants the Bramhin Varna who create the 14 Vedic literatures in the

new day of Bramha. It is said there are in all 5 types of annihilations carried out by Lord Shiva in

this cosmic creation - (Vikalpa annihilation, Kalpa annihilation, Manvantar annihilation,

Mahayuga annihilation and individual Yuga annihilation).

Sage Vedavyasa composed the spotless SrimadBhagvatam Mahapurana which is

regarded as the chief amongst all the 18 Puranas. If we study SrimadBhagvatam in detail and

consider each and every verse written in it as a fact then we can discover the exact history of not

only the earth planet but the entire cosmos starting from the Spiritual world. Innumerable

material eggs (Bramhandas) emanate from the pores of the highly transcendental, effulgent and

spiritual body of Lord Mahavishnu in Paravyoma (Spiritual world) during his creative sleep

(Yognidra) and are once again annihilated during his inhalations. Kshirdokshayi Vishnu is the

representative of the Supersoul (Parmatma) who resides as localized Bramhan (Atma) in each of

the individual souls. The individual soul is subjected to innumerable births, lifetimes and

accepts various bodily forms in many material universes (Bramhandas) created by the Supreme

Lord under the influence of Aparashakti or illusory energy (Mahamaya) to act either in rebellion

or act according to their Karmic will because of the individual souls lost link (Yoga) with the

Page 2: History of India Myths and Facts

Supreme truth. Thus the plenary expansion of the Supreme Lord (Kshirdokshayi Vishnu)

assumes various incarnations (except Krishna avatar) to deliver these fallen souls subjected

under the influence of material energy (Maya) to return home, back to Godhead and to protect

his sincere devotees from the clutches of Maya and punish the evil-minded demons and

miscreants. The illusory energy of the Supreme Lord present in the material world is the mirage

or mirror image of the Spiritual energy of Lord Hari present in the Spiritual world namely

Harashakti of Shrimati Radharani (Queen of Vrindavan). This “Harashakti” is also worshipped

as Goddess Gayatri in the Vedas in the form of “Gayatri Mantra”. Goddess Durga- the consort of

Lord Shiva is the representative of this illusory energy called as “Maya” and is worshipped by

gross materialists in the material world in various forms (Shaktism- feminine deity worship) to

gain protection and benedictions from her illusory energy -Maya. In our Bramhanda there are 14

planetary systems - 4 upper planetary system (Satyaloka, Tapaloka, Mahaloka, Janaloka),

middle 3 (Svargaloka, Bhurvaloka, Bhuloka) and 7 lower (Sutala, Jalatala, Talatala, Rasatala,

Patala, Yamaloka) and hellish planets (Narkaloka) on the serpentine hoods of Garbhodakshayi

Vishnu who lies on the Garbhodak Sagar . Lord Bramha in the first half of his lifespan

(Pararadha) spent 155 million years in performing deep meditation and severe penance on to the

root of his source to gain spiritual knowledge and benediction from Garbhokshayi Vishnu in

order to create the new creation as everything was pitch dark around him and he could not find

a way as he was ignorant and helpless though he was assigned the important task of creation by

Lord Vishnu from whose navel he had emerged.

The previous Vikalpa was annihilated (Life of Bramha) by the inhalation of Mahavishnu

caused by the destructive fires emanating from the serpent mouths of Anantashesha Vishnu.

MahaVishnu then gave orders to Garbhodakshayi Vishnu to inundate and dissolve the entire

creation of Lord Bramha with the waters of Garbhodak Sagar. Lord Krishna appeared as a

thumb shaped child resting on the peepal leaf and revealed the annihilation done by him to sage

Markandeya. Lord Shiva then explained the power of destruction assigned to him by Lord

Vishnu to Markandeya Rishi which is explained in SrimadBhagvatam’s 12th Canto. To conclude

Krishna is the cause of all causes and is beyond the 3 modes of material nature. His immediate

expansion Vishnu is the primary creator, sustainer and destroyer (mode of goodness). Bramha is

born from the navel of Vishnu (mode of passion) and Shiva born form the anger of Lord Bramha

is the controller of mode of ignorance and destroys the ignorance in the material universe of

Bramha as explained above to kill the miscreants and maintain law and order alongwith other

demigods like Indra, Vayu, Agni, Surya, Ganesh, Yama, Kubera etc.

Page 3: History of India Myths and Facts

Lord Bramha was born from the navel of his father Garbhodakshayi Vishnu from whom

he received benediction to create all the varieties of animate and inanimate things under the

influence of his Aparashakti - based on the 3 modes of material nature (Sattva, Rajas, Tamas)

and instructed him in the Bramha Samhita to form a lineage (Bramha Sampradaya) of sages,

spiritual beings, saintly kings and Acharyas under whom if any living entity shall surrender on

to his lotus feet will remain unaffected by all the dualities caused by the 3 modes of material

nature by practicing the 9 limbs of devotional service and surely will be eligible to attain his

spiritual world – Paraloka). Thus on the orders of Vishnu the angry Lord Shiva (Rudra) emerged

from the eyebrows of Lord Bramha after the previous Bramha’s cosmic annihilation and guided

Lord Bramha in his work of further creations. Bramha accepted first Goddess Savitri as her wife

and then created Goddess Gayatri from a cow’s ear. Vishnu accepted Goddess Lakshmi as his

consort and Shiva chose Sati and then Parvati. From Parvati Shiva begot Kartikkeya (the

commander of the demigods) and Lord Ganesh (god of wisdom and obstacle destroyer).

Kartikkeya vowed not to marry whereas Ganapati chose Goddess Saraswati (Goddess of

learning). All these gods and goddesses resided in Satya and Tapalokas. Thus Lord Shiva is

assigned the work of destruction in the Hindu trinity and Lord Vishnu as a matter of fact

controls all the three activities Generation (G), observing his material creations (O) and

Destroying them (D). Thus he is the Supreme God. Bramha is the secondary creator and Shiva is

the secondary destroyer. Kshirdokshayi Vishnu resides independently as the representative of

the Supreme Lord as localized Bramhan (Atma). He is also responsible for Manvantar and

Yugavatar incarnations which saves mankind from irreligion by destroying miscreants.

There are in all 84 lakh species in this material world. Kshirdokshayi Vishnu is residing

in the heart of all the animate entities as the representative of the Supreme Lord Parmatma and

Bhagvan ShriKrishna ultimately. This description refutes Darwin’s theory of evolution of natural

selection which is based on the illogical hypothesis of gene mutation and emergence of new

species from the already existing ones. According to Vedic Indic scriptures each of these species

is having an individual soul wherein it enjoys and experiences complete freedom in this material

world under the illusory energy (Maya) of Lord Hari. This illusory power of the Supreme Lord

keeps him away from the real association with self realized devotees (Bhaktas) in the Spiritual

world from where he has come and is subjected to transmigrate and accept various bodies based

on his Karmic and Gunadharma actions and reactions from his past birth and according to the

conditioned state in this present birth and whatever he thinks according to his accumulated

Karma from his entire life at the time of death as per his desire of whether or not to accept a new

body or to gain liberation or keep on transmigrating in the various 84,00,000 species and

Page 4: History of India Myths and Facts

repeatedly being subjected to the 3 modes of material nature wherein the 4 fold miseries of

birth, death, old age and disease and the Traividhika kleshas (Adhidaivika, Adhiadhyatmic,

Adhibhautika) occur. Thus the individual Soul transmigrates in innumerable material universes

created by the exhalations of Mahavishnu (in his Yoganidra sleep lying in the ParaVyoma or

Karnodakshayi Sagar). The individual Soul is a part and parcel of the Supreme whole (Svamsha)

and emanates in the Paravyoma. This is purposely done by the Supreme Lord Purna

Purushottam Bhagvan ShriKrishna to bewilder his devotees and give them a chance of

experiencing freedom so that he will have his own free will that will make him face the

challenges of “Birth, Death, Old age and Disease” and the Traivaidhivik Kleshas (AdhiBhautik,

Adhiadhyatmic and AdhiDaivika) under the 3 modes of material energy (Sattvic, Rajas, Tamas).

I would like to start the hidden history of the world with the civilized advanced

original Indic Aryan race which emerged in India at the start of SwetaVaraha Kalpa some 1

billion, 971 million, 9 lakh, 61 thousand 683 years ago. Kalpa means a day of Bramha. In a day of

Bramha 14 Manus appear and is equal to 1000 Mahayuga cycles. The lifespan of each Manu or

Manvantar is approximately 71.4 Mahayugas i.e. 308 million earthly years and in every

Mahayuga is a combination of 4 Yugas i.e. Satya (16,00,000), Treta (12,00,000), Dwapar

(8,64,000) and Kali (4,32,000). Each Mahayuga is of 4.3 million years approximately and at

present we are staying in 7th Vivasvan Manvantar’s 28 Mahayuga 5110 Kaliyuga year.

Sanatan Arya Vedic civilization first develops and flourishes in India on the banks of the rivers

Indus and its tributaries (Land of 7 rivers), river Saraswati and the plains of the river Ganga, its

tributaries and Bramhaputra river.

By the will of the Supreme Lord Krishna and the 3 principal Gods in Sanatan Dharma

(Bramha, Vishnu and Shiva) assisted by the 33 crore administrative Gods Aryan civilization first

flourishes in India and all the Vedic literatures chiefly the Rigveda and gradually the other Vedic

literatures are first revealed to the Vedic Rishis through deep meditation or through direct

transmission from Gods in discourses to their disciples (sages) for the betterment and

advancement of mankind. Thus we find that each Rucha in the Rigveda has a particular Devata

(divinity), the creator of that Rucha (the name of the Rishi) and the meter in which it is to be

transmitted orally to a disciple (Chanda). Thus the Vedas are Apaureshya (unborn) and are

known as revealed scriptures as they exist from the start of creation and shall remain till its end

wherein they are not destroyed or disturbed by the annihilations done by Shiva in Bramha’s

creation.

Page 5: History of India Myths and Facts

Lord Bramha is helped by Lord Vishnu to create the earthly planet after the annihilation

of the previous “Bramhakalpa” day during his 51st year in second Parardha’s summer time. After

the 4 billion year formation of earth planet and the interim period Lord Vishnu assumes the

incarnations of Matsya and Kurma to inundate and relieve earth from unicellular organisms and

making it fit to sustain aquatic and amphibious lifeforms. When SwetaVaraha Kalpa started

some 1 billion, 971 million, 9 lakh, 61 thousand 683 years ago he once again appeared as

Swayambhuva Manu to protect the Vedic literatures and 7 Sages from drowning and incarnated

as Matsya Avatar (emergence of aquatics).

During the next Swarochisha Manvantar of 300 million earthly years the Demigods and

the Demons fought over the control for the nectarean potion (Amrut) and used the inundated

waters created by Lord Bramha to extract nectar by performing Samudra Manthan. The

emergence of poison and the creation of Moon planet some 1.7 billion years ago from the earth,

14 divine objects and finally Lord Dhanvantari appeared with the pot of Amrut holding in his

hands. Lord Vishnu assisted both the demons and demigods by incarnating as Kurma avatar

(emergence of amphibians). He also incarnated as Mohini avatar and assisted the Devas in

getting nectar from the Demons. In the process the two demons Rahu and Ketu were beheaded

by Vishnu’s Sudarshan disc. Both these demons cursed moon of getting eclipsed by them. Moon

married the 27 Nakshatras and due to his biasness with Rohini Nakshatra he was cursed by

Daksha to face wanning and waxing periods. Lord Shiva also cursed Moon to be constantly

struck by outer space objects and devoid of sustaining any lifeform for breaking his penance.

The unending history of Devasura sangram (33 crore administrative gods vs uncivilized

demons) battles between demoniac forces against the civilized Aryan rulers or emperors of

India, assisted by Indra alongwith the 33 crore demigods and by Vishnu and his incarnations

throughout these ages is vividly explained in the 18 Puranas of Sanatan dharma. It indicates the

fighting and victorious spirit of Vedic Indic Aryans to survive against the violent savagery, the

uncontrolled forces of nature and other dominating demoniac forces that are against the Vedic

Aryan civilizing process. Thus in the Vedic scriptures we find mantras wherein the Vedic Aryans

make sacrificial offerings to that respective god to assist them in conquering these uncontrolled

demoniac forces present within them and to repel the attack of non-Aryan tribes in order to

protect their kingdom, cities, livestock and fields from getting destroyed. The settlers of

Devabhumi Bharat where always against these uncivilized Dasas, Rakshasha, Asuras and other

miscreant unaryan tribes who posed a constant threat for the very survival of Sanatan Arya

Vedic Varnashram dharma in India. Thus towards the end of the second Swarochisha

Page 6: History of India Myths and Facts

Manvantar Lord Vishnu incarnated as White Boar (SwetaVaraha) incarnation and defeated the

Rakshashas (demons). During Swayambhuva and Swarochisa Manvantar earth was surrounded

by the waters on all the sides and was known as “Plakshadwipa” – Pangea. Lord Vishnu

(SwetaVaraha) after the defeat of the demons assigned the upper planetary system to the Devas

(Indra and 33 crore administrative gods), lower planetary systems to demons (asuras) and

middle planetary humans to the civilized human Aryan rishis and their descendants, Manu and

his lineage of saintly kings and emperors to rule the human race over the earth planet at the

start of SwetaVaraha Kalpa. Thus our Kalpa is known as “Swetavaraha Kalpa”

The oldest civilization on earth started in the Indian subcontinent namely the Vedic

civilization which is also known as Varnashram dharma during the reign of third Manu, namely

Uttama Manvantar. The 14 branches of Vedic literature namely the 4 Vedas, 6 Vedangas, 6

schools of philosophy, the 4 Upavedas, 18 Puranas, Manusmriti, Dharmashastras were created

by Vedic Rishis and their descendants during the reign of Uttama Manvantar for the betterment

of human civilization. The Vedic knowledge is known as “Apaurusheya” as it is existing on the

earth planet since time immemorial as it is being passed from the Universal Gods to the 14

Manus during each of their timespan and in all their yugas and are further preserved by the 7

Sages and their descendants – the Bramhin Varna for propagating the Vedic culture and

knowledges to the future generations and spread Vedic culture throughout the world with the

help of Kshatriyas through conquest of non-Aryans by performing fire sacrifices such as

“Rajasuya yadnya” and Ashwamedha yadnya” and who assumed titles like “Chakravarti”,

“Digvijay”, “Samrat” etc and the Vaishyas by contacting non-Aryans with trade and commerce in

spreading of Vedic civilization throughout the world.

Uttama’s son emperor Uttanpada had two sons Dhruva and Priyavarta born from

Suniti and Suruchi respectively. He was more biased to Suruchi. When Suruchi insulted Dhruva

who was sitting on the lap of king Uttanpada, his mother Suniti instructed him to go to forest

and please Lord Vishnu. Dhruva under the instructions of Sage Narada worshipped Lord Vishnu

in deep penance. Lord Vishnu appeared before Dhruva and granted him the boon of eternally

serving him through devotional service from his abode in Dhruva star which is situated to the

supreme north of our universe and also granted him benediction of becoming the Emperor of

the earth planet during the reign of Uttama Manvantar.

After the reign of Uttama Manvantar, during the reign of 4th, 5th and 6th Manvantar

(Epochs of Manu) namely Tamasa, Raivata and Chakshusha earth planet witnessed demoniac

Page 7: History of India Myths and Facts

age of the Dinosaurs for roughly 922.7 million earthly years. The Dinosaurs (Danavas and

Asuras and their descendants) dominated the earth under the leadership of Hiranyaksha,

Hiranyakashipu and Bali Maharaja in the 4th, 5th and 6th Manvantar respectively. Hiranyaksha

and Hiranyakashipu were sons of sage Kashyapa and his wife Diti. Diti gave birth to demons and

reptiles. His wife Kadru gave birth to Nagas and other ferocious dinosaurs. Kashyap’s pious wife

Aditi gave birth to birds, chief among them Garuda (the carrier of Lord Vishnu), god-fearing

humans and some administrative gods to protect mankind from the anarchical rule of the

demons. The gods were assisted by Lord Vishnu in vanquishing these ferocious demons that

were very much powerful and created imbalance for the thriving of Vedic civilization on the

earth planet. The civilized humans and the sages were in constant fear from the ferocious

demons like Hiranyaksha during Tamasa Manvantar. He was killed by Lord Vishnu’s Varaha

incarnation in a ferocious battle. Hiranyaksha completely plunged mother earth to the depths of

Garbhodak Sagar. From this description we can assume that mother earth experienced a great

catastrophical flood during the reign of Hiranyaksha. Almost all life forms would have been

vanished during his reign including the Vedic civilization. Lord Varaha after annihilating

Hiranyaksha once again established Varnashram or Vedic civilization on the earth planet.

During the reign of 5th Manvantar i.e. Raivata Manvantar – Hiranyakashipu

acquired benediction from Lord Bramha and started harassing the followers of Vedic dharma

which was once again established by Lord Vishnu after the catastrophic floods caused by

Hiranyaksha (the elder brother of Hiranyakashipu) by killing him during Tamasa Manvantar.

He considered Lord Vishnu to be his chief enemy and began started executing and harassing

whoever worshipped Lord Vishnu. Coincidently his son Prahlada turned to be a great devotee of

the Supreme Lord Vishnu. Hiranyakashipu tried to kill him many times. His guru Shukracharya

(Guru of the demons) who was assigned the planet Venus by Lord Vishnu also tried to

brainwash Prahlad’s mind from worshipping Lord Vishnu. Eventually Bhakta Prahlad, the

followers of Vedic civilization and all the devotees of Lord Vishnu were saved by the 4th

incarnation of Vishnu i.e. Narshimha (half lion-half man). Lord Narsimha killed

Hiranyakashipu and vanquished all the demoniac beings. He then instructed his ardent devotee

Prahlad and once again established religious principles as envisaged in the Vedas. The

descendants of Prahlad practiced Vedic civilization however, lot of demoniac elements were

manifested in them as they were all descendants of Diti.

During 6th Manvantar i.e. Chakshusha the last descendant in the lineage of Prahlad

namely Bali Maharaja was a religious and pious devotee of Supreme Lord Vishnu. However his

Page 8: History of India Myths and Facts

Guru Shukracharya deluded his mind and instructed him to perform 1000 sacrifices (Yagyas) to

conquer the heavens. The administrative gods became perturbed who then approached Lord

Vishnu. Lord Vishnu incarnated as the dwarf Bramhin Vaman – the 5th incarnation and

requested Bali Maharaja to grant him 3 spaces of land. Bali readily accepted his request. Vaman

then assumed a gigantic form, in the first step he occupied all the heavens until the Vaikuntha

planets and in the second feet he occupied the entire earthly planet. He now requested where he

should keep his third feet. Bali then offered his head by prostrating before Vaman. Vaman

becoming pleased with his devotional service plunged Bali and all his demoniac followers to the

7 lower planetary system and made him the emperor of Patala planetary system and gave him a

boon of serving him in devotional service from the lower planetary system and assured him that

he will become the first Manu in the next day of Bramha i.e. after the end of the present

Shwetavaraha Kalpa.

According to western scientific and geological history of the world, the description

given in the Puranic literature of the Hindus or Vedic religion is matching. Both confirm of a

Dinosaur age and its castatrophical end. The only difference between the Vedic or Puranic

history and the western scientific world history is that the Vedic people believe and confirm that

there was human civilization from the start of Shwetavaraha kalpa some 1 billion, 971 million, 9

lakh, 61 thousand 683 years ago on the earth planet while the scientific world refutes the

existence of human civilization into such remote times over the Indian subcontinent. They

consider Vedic history as mythological and hence we present day Indians under the influence

of western inventions and discoveries also consider all the incarnations of Vishnu as

mythological and the stories associated with them. As a matter of fact there was never a comet

or meteorite that collided on the earth that ended the dinosaur age some 66 million years ago; it

was the arrangement of Lord Vishnu to end the menace of the demoniac dinosaurs for the future

and betterment of the mankind. Lord Vishnu thus incarnated as Lord Vaman in the middle of

Vivasvan Manvantar some 66 million years ago to end the Dinosaur age. In the process of

sending Bali to the nether world , Lord Vaman had its footprints marked on 3 places on the

earthly planet at Gaya, Shuklathirtha and Mecca- which is worshipped by Islamic world.

When the 7th Vivasvan Manvantar started some 120 million years ago the earth

planet witnessed mass geological upheavals which resulted into the formation of present day 7

continents and 4 oceans. In the previous 6 Manvantars all the landmass were joined by a

supercontinent Pangea. Towards the end of Chakshusha Manvantar Europe became separate

from North America. The vast Siberian and Asian landmass collided with the European

Page 9: History of India Myths and Facts

landmass to form the Ural Mountains in the formation of the supercontinent of Eurasia. The

Indian subcontinent throughout the 5 Manvantar Epochs was aloof from the other landmasses

and was a huge island known as “Jambudwipa” surrounded by the “Sea of Tethys”. It was then

separated by the Gondwana landmass. It then moved northwards and collided with the Eurasian

landmass that resulted into the formation of mighty fold mountains namely the Himalayas.

Chakshusha Manvantar witnessed the extinction of many animal species from the Dinosaur age.

Earth was geologically very active during Chakshusha Manvantar and violent volcanic eruptions

and earthquakes resulted into mass extinction of species that could not adjust to changing

temperature on land, air and water. This also gave rise to new species which were adaptable to

this new environment.

The 7th Vivasvan Manvantar witnessed the dominance of mammals. Ferocious beasts

roamed in the jungles. Both Carnivorous and Herbivorous mammals dominated the earth planet

like the lion, tiger, hyena, wolf, jackal, dogs, cats, elephants, giraffes, rhinos, hippos, pigs, horse,

zebra, monkeys, apes etc. The most intelligent creation of God i.e. humans and the evolutionary

humans started competing with each other for survival from this Manvantar some 30 million

years ago after the annihilation of dinosaurs. The civilized Aryans in North India on the banks of

Indus, Saraswati and the Gangetic plains, evolutionary humans and the impious Nishada race

people (hunter gatherers, uncivilized people) who roamed naked through all the continents

posed a great threat for the survival of Vedic civilization in India during most of Vivasvan

Manvantar. A catastrophic flood caused by Lord Shiva at the end of 27th Mahayuga’s Kaliyuga

completely destroyed the uncivilized Nishada race thus relieving the civilized Aryan race and the

thriving of Vedic civilization in India. The remnants of the Nishada race people according to

modern scientific genetic can be found in some tribes of Pacific, Africa, Australia and South

America (Melanesians, Polynesian and aboriginal austric races). The surviving Nishada tribes

were considered as Dasas or non-aryans as they were opposed to the civilizing process of the

Vedic Aryans and were compelled to settle in those lands.

The present Vivasvan Manvantar(Epoch) is the 7th Manu in a day of Bramha and we are

living in his 28th Mahayuga’s Kaliyuga which started 5110 years ago after the battle at

Kurukshetra (Mahabharat War). After 4,26,890 earthly years the 28th Mahayuga’s Kaliyuga will

end and once again the 29th Mahayuga’s Satyayuga shall start.

Vivasvan Manvantar started 120.53 million years ago i.e.

Page 10: History of India Myths and Facts

12 crore 5 lakh 33 thousand 110 years ago.

According to Bhagvad Gita’s 4th Chapter 1st verse – Lord Krishna says to Arjun that I

imparted transcendental knowledge to Sun-God at the start of Vivasvan Manvantar and then

Vivasvan Manu instructed it to his son Ikshvaku who belongs to the Raghuvamsha dynasty at

the beginning of the present Mahayuga’s Tretayuga some 17,28,000 years ago.

Vivasvan Manu’s 28th Mahayuga was ruled by the Raghuvamsha dynasty which started its

reign over the earth planet and especially over the Indian Subcontinent some 38,93,110 years

ago.

Vivasvan Manu established his capital at Ayodhya and made it the headquarters of Kosala

kingdom and later the kings and emperors in this kingdom ruled much of North India where

Aryan civilization thrived and flourished with other kingdoms of Mithila, Kashi, Bharat,

Magadha etc.

Lord Vishnu appeared as Parshuram at the start of 28th Mahayuga’s Tretayuga some

21,65,110 years ago. During Lord Parshuram’s incarnation the whole world was dominated by

uncivilized, miscreant Kshatriya kings who were not ready to accept the ideals of Sanatan or

Vedic Dharma. In Satyayuga the whole of North India was following Vedic civilization and this

Yuga was dominated by the Bramhin Varna who guided the other 3 Varnas. The Bramhins were

the descendants of Vedic Aryan Rishis chiefly the 10 Rishis (Bhrugu, Vashishta, Atri, Agastya,

Pulaha, Pulastya, Angiras, Kardama, Kashyapa, Bharadwaja, Kapila and Gautam) and their

descendants. However, as time transformed into Tretayuga, irreligion began to appear in

Sanatan or Vedic religion. Vedic religion was based on division of 4 social orders and 4 life

orders and guided by the Vedic literatures which were revealed to the above mentioned Sages

through meditation and their descendant Sages and orally transmitted from a Guru to his

disciple and thus preserved for generations. They contained all the necessary knowledge for

material as well as spiritual progress of mankind and even in that remote time period North

India had developed a high mark of Vedic civilization which is the mother of all the existing

civilizations. When all the other people in the world were living in the darkness of ignorance and

leading a nomadic, uncivilized life the Vedic Aryans of India were a source of inspiration to all

the worldly people, who were a gift from God to all the worldly people by whose spiritual and

eternal knowledge they can become civilized and accept Vedic civilization and the ideals of

Sanatan Dharma.

Page 11: History of India Myths and Facts

During Satyayuga the main fabric of Vedic or Sanatan Dharma was conceived by Vedic

Rishis and Bramhins. During the next Yuga i.e. Tretayuga the second Varna in Sanatan Dharma

gained prominence i.e. the Kshatriyas. Some pious Kshatriya kings and emperors like Janaka

and the kings from the Raghuvamsha dynasty abided by the principles of Sanatan Dharma and

protected Bramhins and cows who are considered as the forbearers of Vedic religion. It is said

that irreligion occurs when Bramhins, cows, women and old people are not protected by able

administrators and that is what happened at the start of Tretayuga and at this juncture Lord

Parshuram appeared.

At the start of every Mahayuga, especially in Satyayuga which is dominated by the

Bramhin Varna who are the descendants of the Vedic Aryan sages, chief among them the 7 Sages

acquire the Supreme knowledge of the Vedas from Bramha, Shiva and other Demigods during

the Golden age (Satyayuga) and lay the foundation stone for the development of Sanatan Arya

Vedic civilization in India especially to the north of the Vindhyas on the banks of the Indus and

the 7 rivers, Saraswati, Ganga, Yamuna Bramhanputra rivers and its tributaries.

In the following Yuga namely Tretayuga (dominated by the Aryan Kshatriyas), the

Bramhins spread the Vedic religion to the non-aryans as seen in the conquests of Lord

Parshuram. Parshuram was a Bramhin and the son of sage Jamadagni. He was the first to

spread the Vedic religion to all the corners of the world some 21,00,000 years ago at the start of

Tretayuga. He annihilated the impious, irreligious Kshatriyas 21 times on the earth planet who

were opposing to accept Sanatan Dharma and its ideals. In this process the Aryans who spread

from India in fear of Parshuram as well as the other races who got in contact with Sanatan

Dharma began practicing Sanatan Dharma in the most primitive stage and also sometimes

remain opposed to the civilizing process of Indic Aryans. The pious Kshatriyas in India who

were powerful especially the kings in the Raghuvamsha dynasty such as Ikshvakhu who started

ruling the earth planet some 17,00,000 years ago and his descendants namely Bhagiratha, Dilip,

Trishankhu, Dashratha and finally Lord Ram performed many Rajasuya and Ashwamedha

Yadnyas (sacrifices) to subdue, conquer, overpower or spread the ideals of Sanatan Arya Vedic

Dharma to all the Non-Aryan lands of Africa, Europe, Americas and Australia.

It was during Tretayuga that 2 new races appeared on the face of earth in competition

with the already existing civilized Kashyapa (Caucasoid – around the Kashyap Sea) Aryan race

having its origin in North India from the start of Swetavaraha Kalpa some 1.97 billion years ago.

They were the Negroids (black race) in East Africa some 2.2 million years ago and the

Page 12: History of India Myths and Facts

Mongoloid (yellow race) in East Asia some 2 million years ago. Both these races tried to

penetrate the Indian subcontinent from the South via the sea-route and through the Himalayas

via the land route respectively. Lord Parshuram during his 21 times Kshatriya annihilations

some 2 million years ago recognized this threat and repelled their invasion over northern and

southern India 21 times respectively. The emperors of Raghuvamsha dynasty subdued the

mongoloid race people and spread Aryan civilization to East Asia, Siberia and as far as North

America. However, they could not conquer or defeat the demoniac or Rakshasha forces of

Ravana (son of Aryan sage Vishrava) and his austric-negroid clans who were harassing the

civilized Dravidian people (Bramhin and Kshatriya descendants of Vedic Aryan sages such as

Atri, Agastya, Jamadagni who had settled in the Dandaka forest, south of the Vindhyas). South

India was also inhabited by evolutionary human tribes of Bali, Sugriva who assisted the

Dravidians in defeating the menace of the Rakshashas. Thus the spread of Aryan civilization by

Vedic Aryan sages like Atri and Agastya (founder of Tamil language) in South India and Srilanka

and their descendants the Bramhin Varna refutes the western Indologists theory of Aryan

invasion from outside India on the indigenous Dravidian Indus Valley. On the contrary the

Dravidians are the descendants of Aryan sages from north India who had settled in south India

during 28th Mahayuga’s Tretayuga according to SrimadBhagvatam Purana which is considered

as the Golden ripen fruit of all Vedic literatures and is dated between 15,00,000 years ago till the

advent of Lord Ram towards the end of Tretayuga and his disappearance some 9,00,000 years

ago. Lord Ram vanquished and completely defeated the demoniac forces of Ravana, killed

Ravana and other Rakshahas in the battle and gave the right to rule Srilanka to his younger

brother Vibhisana. Lord Ram was assisted by his younger brother Lakshmana, his ardent

devotee Hanuman and evolutionary humans like Sugriva (king of Kishkindha), Jambavan etc in

rescuing Goddess Sita who was abducted by demoniac king Ravana when he was banished to

forest by his stepmother Kaikeyi. After the defeat of Rakshashas, their remnants the non-aryan

tribes were banished from South India and they escaped as far as Indonesia and Australia. The

present day aborigines of Australia are the remnants of Rakshasha tribes from South India. The

evolutionary humans could not survive the changing weather and climatic conditions which

eventually gave rise to Dravidian kingdoms from the start of Dwarparyuga some 8,00,000 years

ago. The Dravidian kingdoms like Andhras, Cholas, Pandyas, Cheras, Pallavas, Vidharbhas

began their rule over South India. During the Ice age there was mixture of Aryan and non-Aryan

races in south India resulting into Dravidians who settled in Panchdravida (Maharashtra,

Karnataka, Kerala, Tamilnadu and Andhra Pradesh).

Page 13: History of India Myths and Facts

The Dravidians (Vedic Aryans of South India) became dominant and followed the Vedic

religion. The descendants of the Vedic Aryan sages from north India who settled in South India

became Bramhins and Kshatriya kingdoms like the Andhras, Cholas, Cheras, Vidharbha,

Kalingas, Pallavas began to rule South India. Soon the evolutionary humans – the Vanaras

became extinct from South India and were replaced by the Dravidians – modern civilized Vedic

Aryans of the south. “Dakshinapath” connects north India to south India which was used for

transport, commerce and pilgrimage by people living in both these regions to go to places of

religious importance and places of learning. Cities such as Kashi, Takshashila, Nalanda,

Pataliputra, Hastinapura, Ayodhya, Ujjain, etc in the North are well connected to the cities of

the South such as Kanchi, Amravati, Madurai, Prathisthan, Rameshwar, Nasik etc.

Dwaparyuga began in 8,64,000 BC and ended 5110 years ago. During this Yuga (age)

humans abandoned their nomadic life that of wandering and hunting for food and began to

settle in villages to do agriculture. Most of the world civilizations like Egyptian, Sumerian,

Chinese, and Mesoamerican etc began towards the end of Dwaparyuga.

In the Indian Subcontinent the Vedic Aryans had by now maturely developed their Vedic

civilization from the previous two Yugas. Beautiful, well-planned cities based on grid-layout

were constructed by Vedic Aryans along the banks of the rivers of North India such as Saraswati,

Indus and its 6 tributaries, Ganga, Yamuna and their associated tributaries, Bramhaputra etc.

Central India was not yet developed and primitive Non-Aryan tribes of Austric origin like Bhils,

Gonds, Santhals etc dwelled in the forests of Central India. These tribes peacefully co-existed

with Vedic Aryans and some even accepted Vedic customs in their daily life though retaining

their tribal identity. The Aryan kingdoms of south India had well planned cities which were built

according to Dravidian architecture and were the product of Aryan and Dravidian architectural

synthesis. The cities of Prathisthan, Sopara, Kalyani, Badami, Kanchi, Madurai, Amravati etc

were built according to Dravidian style.

Dwaparayuga was dominated by the 3rd Varna in the Vedic religion namely the Vaishyas

and during this age trade, agricultural produce and commerce flourished in the Indian

Subcontinent. The Aryans of India discovered new trade routes and discovered new lands and

settled as far as Europe, East Asia, Arabian Peninsula, Nile Valley, Mesopotamia and Southeast

Asia. They also developed trading posts in East Africa and ventured as far as North Africa but

stopped their expeditions due to the hostilities from the Rakshasha tribes in the interiors of

Africa. According to some theories they also traded with the civilizations of Central and South

Page 14: History of India Myths and Facts

America. Vedic Aryans sowed the seeds of Vedic civilization in these far of lands by their

settlements and expeditions and the original people living in these lands accepted Vedic culture.

Thus today we find remnants of Vedic culture in Russia, some parts of Europe, Iran,

Mesopotamia etc. The spread of Indo-European languages is attributed to the Proto-Indo-

European language Sanskrit from whom all the languages from Europe to India have emerged.

Vedic Sanskrit was the original language of the Vedic Aryans and the previous nomadic settlers

of all the new lands which the Vedic Aryans conquered, accepted Vedic Sanskrit as their new

language and embraced Vedic culture and religion. All these events took place between

8,00,000 BC and 40,000 BC. During this period planet Earth was experiencing a severe Ice-

Age.

The Ice-age ended during 40,000 BC. This drastic change in the climate further boosted

the Vedic Aryan settlements to develop in Russia and Europe. In the Indian Sub-continent the

flourishing of Indus Valley cities and the Saraswati Valley which is many times mentioned in

Rigveda and the cities in the Gangetic plains gave rise to 10 powerful Aryan kingdoms that

fought amongst themselves for supremacy of Aryavarta (Land of the Aryans). This rivalry

between 10 Aryan kings or clans is known as Dasharadnya Yudha and is mentioned in Rigveda.

The Dasharadnya war (War of ten kings) took place between

Chayamana, king of Abhivarta - identified in south-eastern Iran -

and King Sudas, son of Divodasa, who presided over a kingdom to the

east of Sindhu. As far as the Vedic evidence goes, after his

victory over Chayamana, Sudas founded an empire on the banks of the

Ganga along with Vashistha, Vishwamitra and others, whose impact

later spread eastwards and southwards. The influence of these

triumphant Bharatas (Sudas) over the Iranian (Chayamana)

counterparts subsequently weakened in course of time. Thereafter,

the Iranians appear to have developed a particular way of life

under the advise of Sage Zarathustra, improving on the Vedic

sacrificial religion and yet retaining fire worship. The Vedics in

Afghanistan however maintained their relations with those to their

east, until a recent past, till the advent of Islam in these

regions.

The Dasyus were then the residents of some mountainous regions in

Iran, a very respectable people, who appear to have become

Page 15: History of India Myths and Facts

Zarathustra's followers, since the latter is referred to as

Dakhyuma (the temporal Lord) and Dakhyuma Suro (in Avesta,

Fr.Yashta.90). It is notable that he is called Suro (Sur) - the

learned - as opposed to Asur. This 'Asur'ians however were in turn

the residents of Mesopotamia (Assyria) situated on the banks of

river Euphrates. According to the Rgved, the Dasyus were believing

in false gods and were inhuman (7-59-11) and it is that

Zarathustra, the pious and learned one, was trying to bring these

people into the aryan way of life.

Spencer gives details from Malcom's "History of Ancient Persia" and

states that for 2598 years some four dynasties ruled over Persia

from Yama Vivanghao (Yama Vaivaswat in Sanskrit) in whose time the

Deluge commenced, i.e., in 9844 B.C. The rule of these four

dynasties ended therefore in approximately 7200 B.C. By this time,

Kai Vishtaspa became ruler of Persia. Sage Kaksivan (RV 1-122-13)

speaks of one Istasva who is identified with Vishtaspa by

E.S.Bharuca (quoted by Hodivala). This king is supposed to have

ruled for 120 years, and so his period can be fixed to about 7100

B.C. Iranian Zarathustra was a contemporary of king Vishtaspa, and

therefore his date can be worked out to be around 7100 B.C. On the

basis of astronomy, Spencer determines Zarathustra's date to be in

between 7388 to 7052 B.C., coinciding with the dates determined

above. This apparently is also the approximate date for the

occurrence of the Dasharadnya War. This War also appears to have

set the Vedics living in the Sapta-Sindhu homeland towards the

North, South, East and West directions.

Therefore, based on the internal evidence from the RgVed and

Avesta, the boundaries of Chayamana's kingdom were: on the west,

the Caspian Sea and the river Oxus - one of the sapta-sindhu rivers

now named as Amu-darya (as the Greeks Herodotus and Strabo lay

down, that this sea and the nearby mountain Caucasus got their

names from Sage Kaspios, obviously a reference to Sage Kashyapa of

the Rgved) and on the North the mountain ranges Pamir; on the east

spreading over an area a little beyond Hindukush and the eastern

Page 16: History of India Myths and Facts

most tributary of the Sindhu - the Shatudri (Sutlej) and the Ganga

and on the south, the Arabian sea.

From the foregoing discussion, it is now realized that the Vedics,

after leaving their original habitat in the North, spread downwards

settling down in various parts of the earth. Right from Turkey and

Egypt, the Vedics covered the region between the Caucasian

mountains and Caspian Sea down to Syria, Palestine and the ancient

Persian kingdoms of Babylon, Sumer, Ur, Kassite and towards

Afghanistan, Azerbaizan and then crossing the Hindukush mountains

towards east into the present day India. An impetus to the spread

and severance between the sapta-sindhu homeland of Vedics then came

about after the Dasharadnya War - the spread towards Greece and

northwards. Renfrew allows a date as early as 6000 B.C. for the

migration of Vedic aryans into Europe ("The Origins of Indo-

European Languages, Sc.Amer, Oct, 1989).

That the Vedics had migrated to Egypt is also suggested from the

geographical references in the Puraan. S.M.Ali in his "Geography of

the Puranas" writes that "they (Vedics) had knowledge of the

geography of the then known world. It is clear from the reference

to Nile in the Vayu Purana". Also, Prof. Brugsch Bey writes about

the Egyptian civilization in "History of Egypt" (quoted by

K.Venkatachalam in "Age of Buddha", p.76) that "We have a right to

more than suspect that India, eight thousand years ago, sent a

colony of emigrants who carried their arts and high civilization

into what is now known to us as Egypt. The Egyptians came,

according to their records, from a mysterious land (now known to

lie on the shores of the Indian ocean) ... led by Amen, Hor, Hathor

(Brahma, Hari, Rudra)..." These statements justify the "Aryam

Krunwanto Vishwam" (We will spread the Arya culture through out the

world) slogan of the Vedic people.

Tilak in "Orion" mentions that the Greeks, who were worshippers of

the Sun (Mitra), separated from their Vedic brethren about 3500

B.C. These perhaps were the people who moved westwards from the

Caspian sea (as the Greeks Herodotus and Strabo lay down, that this

Page 17: History of India Myths and Facts

sea and the nearby mountain Caucasus got their names from Sage

Kaspios, obviously a reference to Sage Kashyapa of the Rgved).

Pococke writes in "India in Greece" (quoted in Age of Buddha, by

K.Venkatachalam, p.75) , "The early civilization, the early arts,

the indubitably early literature of India are equally the

civilization of, the arts, and literature of Egypt and of Greece;

for geographical references conjoined to historical facts and

religious practices, now prove beyond all dispute than the latter

countries are the colonies of the former". The Greeks (and

Egyptians) derived their cosmogony from the Hindus is apparent from

their respective literature (Deshpandey, "Bharat: As seen and known

by foreigners").

An assessment of the spread of the Vedic culture in conjunction

with the study of the ancient literature, history, arts,

philosophy, cosmogony, etc. of peoples worldwide inculcates

sufficient doubt, and perhaps an cogent argument, to the pervasive

influence of the Vedic aryan thought. Count Bjornstierna in his

book "The Theogony of the Hindus" (p.168) rightly judges and

summarizes, "No nation on earth can vie with the Hindus in respect

of the antiquity of their religion. It is there (i.e. Aryavarta) we

must seek the cradle for the brahmin religion but for the cradle of

high civilization of the Hindus, which gradually extended itself in

the west to Ethiopia, to Egypt, to Phoenicia, in the eat to Siam,

to China and to Japan, in the south to Ceylon, to Java and to

Sumatra, and in the north to Persia, to Chaldia and to Colchis,

whence it came to Greece and to Rome and at length to the remote

abode of the Hyperboreans".

Charles Vallency quotes Sir William Jones as saying "It has been

proved by clear evidence and plain reasoning that a powerful

monarchy was established in Iran, long before the Assyrian or

Pishdadi government; that it was in truth a Hindu monarchy ... that

is subsisted many centuries.." (Collectania De Rebus Hibernicus,

p.465). Pococke observes, "that a system of Hinduism pervaded the

whole Babylonian and Assyrian empires" (India in Greece, p.178). It

Page 18: History of India Myths and Facts

is obvious that west asia, as was observed earlier, was very much

a part of the massive Vedic empire.

There are a number of references and admittances to the antiquity

of the Vedic culture, that the Hindus were the parent of the

literature and theogony of the world (W.D.Brown quoted in Bharat:

As seen and known by foreigners", p.13), that the world thought was

influenced by Hindu philosophy, and finally, according to Maxmuller

(in "History of Ancient Sanskrit Literature") the Veda is the

oldest book in existence ... and it carries us back to times of

which we have no records anywhere". The expanse and pervasiveness

of the Vedic thought is simply amazing and remarkable. P.N.Oak in

his celebrated book "World Vedic Heritage" provides an exhaustive

account of the vedics worldwide.

The Vedics seem to have settled in northern (and even in the South)

India long before the Dasharadnya War (7000 B.C.). Divodasa, father

of Sudas, had an empire in the regions of Punjab. The mountains of

Himalayas and the land of Kashmir are praised in the Rgved. The

Vedic settlements on the fertile banks of the Saraswati-Sindhu

rivers, and their influence has reached to the far-east and south

of India as well.

The Saraswati-Sindhu Culture (SSC)

A flourishing civilization along the banks of Indus (Sindhu) river,

called the Indus-valley civilization, has been an enigma after its

excavation in the early 20th century. In spite of the intensive

research conducted, many questions about this civilization yet

remain to be answered. However, it has been maintained that this

advanced culture had a non-aryan identity, destroyed by the

invading aryans. However, an examination of the artifacts located

at the unearthed sites present an different opinion.

The ethnic identity of the SS folks, whether they were aryans or

non-aryans has been addressed. It is assumed that these cities

succumbed to the invasions of the so-called aryans and that the

Vedic god Indra carried out all the destruction. Archaeologist

Dales points that there is no destruction level covering the latest

Page 19: History of India Myths and Facts

period of Mohenjodaro, no sign of extensive burning, no armour-clad

warriors and no weapons are conspicuously absent. He states, "Enemy

of the Harappans was nature and abetted by Harappans themselves,

who accelerated the spoliation of the landscape - Thus ended one of

the three civilizations of antiquity. Indra and the barbarian

hordes are exonerated" (quoted by Possehl in "Ancient Cities of the

Indus", 1979). The invasion theory does not stand an

anthropological scrutiny, since studies of the SS population prove

the genetic and somatic homogeneity of all. The Vedic literature

even though details many other things, does not speak of any

"formidable civilization" presenting an extensive fortified front

to the aryan invaders. There was no aryan invasion and therefore no

massacre of the population at Mohenjodaro.

In Mohenjodaro, a tablet dated 2600 B.C. is found which depicts

Lord Krishna in his childhood days (Agrawal, V.S., "India in the

days of Panini", 1953). This shows that Lord Krishna was popular at

least prior to this date, and also that the Indus Valley culture

was not destroyed by any outsiders. This culture was in continuity

with the Vedic culture prevalent on the banks of river Saraswati

and Sindhu from ancient times. The disappearance of these

settlements seems to have caused by natural calamities, by

earthquakes, flooding and perhaps, change in course of rivers.

The picture of the SSC that emerges is a huge dimensions, a superb

religious-cultural and trade empire spanning area of continental

sizes. Small settlements and a few city-centers of enormous are

also seen. These sites have been marked by a presence of planned

township, typical pottery and other artifacts. At Mehrgrah, charred

remains of wheat, barley and oats have been found along with

milling stones. Among floral remains, the finding of cotton seeds

forming part of cultivated crops is notable.

The motifs like Pipal leaf, which attained deification in the

later stages of the Veda, and Swastika which are supposed to be

religious are found in some pre-SS sites, suggesting a continuity

of from the Vedic culture. Sacrificial fire-alters and geometric

Page 20: History of India Myths and Facts

designs are found in most sites suggesting a Vedic religio-

ritualistic lifestyle of the people. A full set of terracotta

figures in Yogic and greeting postures in the Indian posture are

found at Mohenjo-daro and Harapppa. One famous seal found at the

sites is that of Pashupati, a human figure with headgear of horns

in seated in a contemplative yogic posture and surrounded by

animals. He has been identified as Rudra, the later Mahadeva. An

Atharvavedic hymn (2-34), attributed to Pashupati himself, exactly

describes this seal. Due to mutual cultural and trade contacts,

these SS seals, weights and beads have been found in Ur, Kish and

some parts of Sumeria.

The most enigmatic and baffling aspect of the Saraswati-Sindhu

culture has been their script. Due to a belief in aryans overriding

the "dravida" culture, attempts have been made to decipher SS

symbols into some form of a dravidian script. Recently, Dr.Rao has

convincingly deciphered the script and is a form of Sanskrit beyond

any doubt, perhaps, a form of Brahmi from which the current

devanagari script has evolved. This view is being accepted by many

scholars. The conclusion appears to fit in the logic since the

Harappa culture is only in continuance with the earlier Vedic

culture. However, since there was continuous contact between the

Vedic folks and Sumerians, Phoenicians, etc. is possible that the

SS script contains alphabetics from the semitic scripts. The

migration of indo-europeans along with the Indians from their

common habitat explains the close relationship between different

scripts.

The SS culture was anything but a part and parcel of the earlier

Vedic civilization, and also, an antecedent to the Hindu culture

that followed. The Saraswati-Sindhu phase represents a stage of

development, gathered from C-14 dating techniques of various

objects at different sites, during the period between 3000 B.C. to

about 2100 B.C. (Possehl, Ed., Ancient Cities of the Indus, 1979),

a little later than the Mahabharat civilization.

The datelines for the Mahabharat age have been well researched by

Page 21: History of India Myths and Facts

numerous scholars. For events prior to Mahabharat, only estimated

dates are available and those like Ramayan, at least for now, can

only be estimated from the Mahabharat epoch. It is with this

consideration that the time for the Mahabharat era is established,

even though Ramayanic era is known to have occurred prior to

Mahabharat.

The names of these 10 kings or clans were Sudas who ruled over Saptasindhu (the land of

seven rivers) and was the king of the Bharat clan and who defeated the other 9 opponents like

Parshus (who then settled in Persia), Druhyus (who then settled in Afghanistan and Central Asia

and were the ancestors of the Yavanas and Hunas), the other Indian clans such as Magadhis,

Kosalas, Videhans, Panchalas, Yadus, Alinas and Prithas. Sage Vasishtha aided the Bharat clan

while Vishvamitra aided the other 9 clans. The Parshus, Druhyus, Alinas and Anus were

rebellious Vedic Aryans of India and after their defeat they left India. The Alinas settled in the

lands of East Asia north of Tibet after crossing the Himalayas and were responsible for the

civilizations in China, Japan and Mongolia. Some even settled in Siberia and were the ancestors

of Turkic and Mongols nomadic people. Parshus left India and settled in Iran and founded the

kingdom of Medes and Parthia. While the Anus settled in Central Asia and Afghanistan and

founded the kingdoms of Gandhar. The Scythians (Shakas), Hunas and Yavanas were all

descendants from Anu clans that came as repeated invaders later in Indian history. The Druhyus

settled as far as Ireland and their descendants are known as Druids who were the ancestors of

the Celtic, Anglo-Saxon and Gothic proto-Indo-European tribes of Europe. The Videhans and

Magadhis settled in East India, Yadus and Alinas settled in western and N.W. India respectively.

Prithas from whom Kurus descended settled between the Indus and Gangetic plains. Panchalas

settled in Upper Gangetic plains and Kosalas settled in Middle Gangetic valley. After this battle

the Bharat clan became most powerful and ruled the entire land of seven rivers and Indus valley

and so our country is also known as “Bharatvarsha”. This battle took place approximately in

15,000 BC. After this battle Middle Vedic age started in India which lasted until the Mahabharat

War that took place in 3105 BC.

During Middle Vedic Age all the Vedic literatures were composed and compiled in

written format which were until now orally transmitted from a Guru to his disciple. The

Devanagari script which is the most systematic and refined script was accepted as the official

script of Sanskrit language. Other scripts like Bramhi and Mundari scripts of the Dravidians

were also in use in the Indus valley and South India. The 4 Upavedas namely Ayurveda

Page 22: History of India Myths and Facts

(Medicine and surgery), Dhanurvidya (weaponry sciences), Vastushastra (Architecture) and

Gandharvaveda (64 art forms and crafts) were developed during this period. Six schools of

philosophy and 108 Upanishads were some of the new religious ideas that were developing from

the Vedic fold and these ideas gave rise to new philosophers and teachers in the Vedic religion.

These philosophers were Kanad, Jaimini, Kapila, Gautama, Patanjali and VedVyas.

Dwaparyuga was the dominance of Vaishyas or merchantile community in Sanatan dharma.

Sanatan Arya Vedic civilization existed in the Indian Subcontinent from a remote time-period

deep in prehistory which is beyond the imagination and mental speculation of western scientists

as they will negate all this subject matter.

In the epic Mahabharat the disastrous Mahabharat war according to modern time

calculation occurred on 18th December 3105 BC. On this auspicious day in the first forthnight’s

waxing moon period’s 11th day of Margashirsha - Lord Krishna Bhagvan instructed Arjun the

highly spiritual and reverential book in Sanatan Arya Vedic Dharma the “Bhagvadgita which is

in the Bhisma Parva of the epic poem Mahabharat written by Sage VedVyas. The great war

comprised a total of 28,70,000 chariots, cavalry(horse), war elephants, foot soldiers and

attendants on the side of Kauravas against the total of 20,30,000 chariots, cavalry(horse), war

elephant, foot soldiers and attendants on the side of the Pandavas assembled to fight coming

from all the various Aryan lands from Ireland to East Asia and from Siberia to Srilanka that

fought on either side of the impious Kauravas or the pious and religious Pandavas. In this

disastrous “Dharmayudha” only 10 people survived – 5 Pandavas, Lord Krishna,

Drishtadyumna, satyaki, Kripacharya and Aswatthama. The civilized Aryan race in the 28th

Mahayuga had spread from north India towards other parts of the world and escaped the wrath

of 21 time Kshatriya annihilations during the end of Satyayuga and afterwards during the end of

Tretayuga the Aryans had once again settled in all the Rakshasha ruled lands occupied by the

demon king Ravana after he was defeated by Lord Ram. The Vedic Aryans during the end of

Middle Vedic age had once again spread from India after Dasharadnya Yudha in 15000 BC

when the 4 defeated Indic Aryan clans of Parshus, Druhyus, Anus and Alinas had settled in

Middle-east, Persia, Europe, central Asia and East Asia. All these Aryan clans had once again

assembled on the battlefield of Kurukshetra in BC 3105 to fight either on the side of the 5

Pandavas or the 100 Kauravas in the famous Mahabharat War.

After the disastrous Mahabharat war latter Vedic age started in India from BC 3000

to BC 600 in which the desertification of Saraswati river valley occurred in (BC 3200 – BC

Page 23: History of India Myths and Facts

2500). Sage VedVyas composed the spotless SrimadBhagvatam Purana at this juncture. He

divided the Vedas into 4 parts (Rig, Yajur, Sama and Atharva) and he also compiled the famous

Vedanta sutra and is considered the literary incarnation of Lord Krishna. On his Vedanta sutra

the impersonal Vedanta (Advaita Bramhan) sutra of Shankara is based and also the 4 bonafide

Vaishnav sampradayas(sects) presented their theistic commentaries that the SuperSoul

(Parmatma) is a Person(Bhagvan) possessing the 6 Supreme qualities which are transcendental,

eternal and complete. The fallen individual soul can gain liberation and attain the Supreme

planet of the Lord by practicing devotional service (Bhakti). The 4 Vaishnav Acharyas and their

sects are BramhaMadhvasampradaya (Madhvacharya – Dvaita), Shrisampradaya (Ramanuja –

Vishisthadvaita), Kumarasampradaya (Nimbarkacharya – Shuddhadvaita) and

Rudrasampradya and the BramhaMadhva Gaudiya Vaishnav sect established in the 16th century

by the Supreme Lord Krishna himself in his Gaura avatar of Chaitanya Mahaprabhu ago in

Bengal. Thus sage Vedvyas is considered as the foremost Guru of this present Kaliyuga as he

compiled the Vedanta sutra, wrote the epic Mahabharat, Bhagvadgita, classified the 4 Vedas and

composed the spotless SrimadBhagvat Purana. He laid the foundation stone for modern

Hinduism some 5000 years ago and gave these knowledges to his various disciples like

Shukadeo, Suta, Paila, Jaimini, Yadnyavalkya, Shaunaka, Sumanta, Romaharshana etc.

I want to especially make aware the dwellers in the Indian Subcontinent understand

and realize that how the above mentioned long, unique and unparalleled Sanatan Arya Vedic

history was manipulated and shortened by the cunning British rulers and the western

Indologists by propounding and making popular the false “Aryan Invasion theory” which

deluded the minds of Indians in not believing their “Vedic and Puranic scriptures” that stressed

upon the progress of an Aryan based on the 4 human goals of religiosity, economic development,

fulfilling desires and which finally makes an individual soul (Aham Bramhasmi Athatho

Bramha-jidnysa) fit for liberation. The religion followed by the inhabitants of “AryaBharat”

(Indian Subcontinent) was based on the 14 knowledges (4 Vedas, 6 Vedangas, 6 schools of

philosophy, 18 Puranas, Dharmashastras, 4 Upavedas, the Epics, Bhagvad Gita and the 108

Upanishads) which are mentioned in the most oldest and the mother of all religions i.e.

Sanatan (oldest) Arya Vedic (civilization) Varnashram (4 social orders and 4 life orders)

Dharma (religion) and not Hinduism the name given by the 4 foreign invaders “Shakas,

Hunas, Yavanas and Mlenchas” who invaded India after the end of the Latter Vedic age from

500 BC onwards until India was partitioned into 2 separate independent counties namely

Muslim Pakistan and Hindu India in AD 1947 which was based on the British policy of “Divide

and Rule.

Page 24: History of India Myths and Facts

The sole aim of the European invaders (Mlenchas) who invaded by sea and named

AryaBharat (the land of original Aryans) as India (Sindhu – Indus – India) chief amongst them

the Portuguese, French and British wanted to plunder the riches of India, control its Spice route

and silk route which connected Europe, the Arab world and passed through India to the

countries of far east and China. They wanted to lessen the hold of the Arabs (Muslims) on the

Indian trade routes by gradually controlling its trade and commercial establishments through

trading posts and treaties with the Indian rulers and eventually conquering India through

conquest, manipulate the vast Vedic pool of knowledge that already contained everything for the

betterment of mankind especially the Upavedas (Ayurveda, Dhanurvidya, Vastushastra,

Gandharvaveda, Shrusruta Samhita, Charaka Samhita, Arthashastra, Kamasutra) for their

benefit which will help them in the European renaissance for new discoveries, insights and

inventions. The British were eventually successful and became the dominant European power to

rule India. They had successfully conquered India through conquest, had controlled all its trade

routes and lessened the hold of the Arab trade on the seas as well as on land with India. The

Arabs thus considered all the European Christian powers as enemy of Islam from 18th century

onwards. Once the British had control over India they systematically looted the riches of India

as is seen in Bengal and the Carnatic which aided them in the Industrial revolution in England.

Their last and final aim of conquering India was to culturally inundate India with western

knowledges, customs and ideas. For this they would have to know the mindset of the Indian

masses and the majority religion they followed. Thus they appointed many European scholars

especially the German and British Indologists who studied in detail Classical Sanskrit and also

the most ancient and the mother of all Indo-European languages i.e. Vedic Sanskrit (the

language spoken by the Vedic people or according to them the Proto-IndoEuropeans having a

Russian steppe homeland according to the Kurgan hypothesis), Indian philosophy, sciences and

arts. Many of they became ardent Indophiles while some like Maxmueller aided the cunning

British rulers and the Christian missionaries to manipulate the Vedic texts and in shortening the

timespan of Vedic history which according to them the Aryans migrated to India from the

Caucasus mountains and some to Europe spreading the common Indo-European languages and

culture after the occurrence of Noah’s flood in 9433 BC. To make believe their statement of the

Aryan migration from a land near the black sea they propounded their theory of Aryan invasion

based on the “Kurgan hypothesis” wherein the Proto-Indo-European homeland of all Aryan

lands was Southern Russia which was based on the color of skin (Caucasoid race), aided them in

establishing European supremacy over the Indian subjects and was hence highly controversial,

illogical, baseless and unscientific. Thus the “Aryan Invasion theory” was a by-product of

Kurgan hypothesis. This theory had a damaging effect on the history of India and now the

proper time has come after 700 years of Islamic destructive rule and the 200 years of

intellectual mindset damage done by the British on Indians.
