Eadweard Muybridge
0 Eadward was a San Francisco photographer who conducted motion pictures and is often known as “The father of the motion picture”.
0 Eadweard developed the Zoopraxiscope which projected a series of images in time with movement through using different cameras.
0 Eadweard was born in Kingston, upon Thames, Surrey, England. But as you would expect his professional photography and innovation occurred in New York.

0Eadward created one of the first black and white motion picture called the horse in motion.

Thomas Edison
0Thomas had an interest in motion pictures which began way before 1888. He then visited Eadweard Muybridge’s laboratory in West Orange which inspired him to invent a motion picture camera.
Colour01907 was one of the first commercial color film,
manufactured by Lumiere brothers in France.0Kodachrome was one of the first modern colour film
that was introduced in 1935. Most colour films expcept Kodachrome was based on technology developed in 1936.
0 Instant colour film was introduced by Polaroid in 1963.

Animation0Walt Disney is a well know man for his talent within
animation. The Walt Disney company started in 1923 and within 4 months there was ever growing staff. During the next 14 years Mickey Mouse was born in 1928 as well as Pluto, Goofy, Donald Duck and the rest of the gang.
0The first innovation animated feature was Snow white and the seven dwarfs.
Drive-in Theatre0 Richard Hollingshead had an interest in cars and movies, therefore
he combined the two to create a theatre where you drove to a certain location and watched a film in your car. It was experimented for the first time in Camden, New Jersey and was succesful.
0 Richard opened the first Drive-in theatre on June 6, 1933 in Crescent Boulevard with a $30000 investment.
Magic Lantern0Was Invented by a man named Athanasius Kircher.
0The Magic Lantern was invented in the 17th century in Rome. It projected images from the lens with a light source, simply a candle.
