Scrolls:The earliest known method of publishing was just hand written on a scroll The Diamond Sutra (discovered in china)is one of the oldest known printed book and was dated back to 868

Letterpress:a blacksmith would carve out letters out of a metal block which would then be arranged for certain words and pressed into a piece of paper leaving an impression.

Traditional lithographs:the process would include drawn images on a metal plate which would then be pressed onto a sheet of paper.

Offset lithography:an image on a polymer sheet which is placed around a roller, then a sheet is placed in-between the roller and presses it multiple times.

Laser printing:laser printing is the most modern of the printing methods. It uses a highly focused beam of light which shoot ink.

Desktop publishing:Using a personal computer or workstation to produce high-quality printed documents. you are able to create your own images and place them alongside text.
