So although shes a human, she canmany different things as a human.

She can be a mother, wife, daughter, teacher

and even a friend.

Hindus believe that God has many aspects toeven though it is the one true god.

God is called BRAHMAN in the Hindu religion. He maytake on the form of anything in the world, usually agod or goddess, and each god or goddess has its ownpersonality and appearance.

Brahman comes in the popular form of three gods.

This idea or concept is called TRIMURTI. They worktogether in a never ending pattern.

Brahma

Brahma is the leastworshipped of the

three main gods. Hehas four heads andhe recites the Vedas

continually. He is

the creator.

Vishnu

Vishnu is worshippedunder several names. Thisis because he hasdifferent appearances.

Hindus believe that whenthere is a time of dangerfor the earth, Vishnucomes to protect it. They

believe he has come tothe earth in 9 bodies.The most famous areKrishna and Rama .

Shiva

Shiva is worshipped byabout a quarter of allHindus. He is the god whodestroys so he controls

death (and even life).Although he can befrightening he is also

thought of being kind and

easy to please. He has atleast 4 hands to showthat he holds life and

death and good and evil.
