PRESIDENT’S MESSAGE

Dear Brothers, Sisters and loving young Friends,

Jai Shree Ram,

I want to start with thanking everyone who participated in all the programs organized by the Mandir in the month

of February.

It is very encouraging to see that our strength and attendance in the Sunday congregations has improved. I

earnestly appeal to one and all to join us in the programs punctually at 11.30am and spend this precious time

until Aarti at 1pm in the closeness of God. Also, let us try to attend the Havan performed every Sunday by Pandit

Dinesh Kumar Ji from 11am to 11.30am. This is a regular Service provided by the Mandir, and everyone should

take benefit of this.

The management is open to listening to your constructive criticism and will take all steps to improve the

programs and services. You are our best advisor and guide to help us take this Mandir to new heights. Together,

we shall grow and prosper.

February is the month of Basant Panchami celebrations and Maa Saraswati Pooja. Apart from Bhajans, Mr.

Sukaran Atwal and his party also sang two lively Basant songs – “Aayi jhoom ke Basant, jhoomo sung sung” and

“Rung basanti, ang Basant chha gaya, mastana mausam aa gaya” to set the tone & mood of Spring.

Pandit Ji recited the Saraswati Pooja Mantras and blessed all the children present, wishing them a bright future

of wisdom, learning and good education. Children also offered yellow rice to Maa Saraswati to seek Her

blessings. Mandir was very appropriately decorated with yellow flowers with the help of Aarti Singla, Jeetu Patel,

Pandit Ji, Pushpa Ji and Hardev Ji.

Ms. Meera Sudhakar, a Music Teacher from Schaumburg, along with her students, also recited the Saraswati

Vandana in a very soulful manner.
