With the increasing number of urban regeneration projects taking place within ourtowns and cities, a range of specialist, high performance streetscape products are nowavailable from fine bedding mortars to high performance grouts, which conform to theBritish Standard BS7533.

The unique materials combine both high strength and rapid set properties. Supplied insmall contractor friendly units, the range facilitates ease of use and early trafficking toensure minimum disruption is caused within the town and city environment. All materials are manufactured under a quality assurance scheme to ISO 9001:2000.

A versatile, polymer modified cementitious mortar, which is shrinkage compensated and can be laid from 10-75mm. Ultracrete HS is mixed easily on site with the simpleaddition of water and creates a perfect base on which to lay natural stone setts, concrete and stone paviors as the material grips them in position, providing an idealbase for grouting or pointing. In addition, its low permeability minimises freeze thawbond failure. Ultracrete HS is not subject to environmental erosion, which can lead to increased point loads on slabs and consequent breakage.

Once laid, the natural stone setts, concrete and stone paviors can take foot traffic after12 hours and light vehicular traffic after 36 hours. Ultracrete HS provides a final compressive strength of 25N/mm2 after 28 days and conforms to BS7533.

Ultracrete GSB is a general bedding mortar, ideal for large-scale projects where thebenefit of a pre-bagged product and affordable price are important.

Ultracrete GSB is recommended for the bedding of natural stone setts, slabs andcubes, which can be mixed simply on site with a free fall mixer, forced action mixer orslow drill and mortar paddle. Ultracrete GSB can be applied between 10-75mm in onepass and can receive foot traffic after 48 hours and vehicular traffic after 5 days.

A rapid set grout with high fluid consistency for early trafficking. With the simple addition of water on site, Ultracrete Flowpoint can be applied by two methods - pouring vessel with spout for small sections or in large sections, poured over the surface and worked into joints with a squeegee.

Excess material is removed by lightly spraying with water, after approximately 15 minutes, once product has started to set. This results in quality joints and maintainsthe beauty of natural stone and paviors.

Ultracrete Flowpoint is ideal for natural stone setts, concrete and stone paviors, bollards, ballustrading and coastal defence work. The highly fluid material can groutjoint widths of between 5-50mm and depths up to 200mm in one pour. UltracreteFlowpoint achieves a final compressive strength of 40N/mm2 and can take foot traffic in 1 hour and vehicular traffic in 36 hours (dependant upon temperatures).

Ultracrete Cempoint is a cementitious mortar for the re-pointing of brick work, blockwork and stone walling. It is also recommended for the pointing of concrete paviors,flags and slabs.

Ultracrete Cempoint is a single pack cementitious pointing mortar blended from specialist cements, polymers and additives. The simple addition of water produces aneasily hand pumped pointing mortar, which has excellent compatibility and is resistantto freeze and thaw weather conditions. Ultracrete Cempoint mortar is available in awide range of colours, is shrinkage compensated, economical, fast and easy to apply,reducing costs and minimising down time.

The Ultracrete Ironwork Reinstatement System represents a unique approach to thespecialist aspect of ironwork reinstatements. When installed correctly, the BBA/HAPASapproved system will offer a full five years life providing unrivalled reassurance for bothcontractors and authorities. The system is for use with a cover and frame up to andincluding class D400 of BS EN 124 in footways, footpaths, cycle tracks and type 2,3 &4 carriageways.
