Founded in 1957, Ruamrudee International School (RIS) was one of the first international

schools in Asia to be fully accredited by WASC and the Thai Ministry of Education. We offer a robust choice of programs, stewarded by a teaching staff rich in expertise, creativity, and compassion. Our most important resource, however, remains the amazing students who continue to excel, both in and out of the classroom. RIS students achieve IBDP and AP scores far above world averages and attend the most prestigious colleges and universities around the globe.

At RIS we nurture the minds, hearts, and hands of our students. We have a vibrant performing and visual arts program and one of the largest athletic programs of any international school in Thailand. Students who live on campus enjoy a contemporary, college-style boarding facility with a warm, familial feel. As it has been for the last 60 years, our goal is to develop creative, compassionate, critical thinkers who are committed to leading happy, healthy lives while helping others to do the same.
