INTERNATIONAL TRANSCRIPT TRAINING- OVERVIEW
International Transcripts and World Education Systems
by Joan Lachance
THE HIGHLIGHTS:
A year = a year of education
Evaluating transcripts is not an exact science.
There has to be flexibility.
High school diploma ≠ medical degree from Harvard
Counselors are KEY!
Trust your experience and your professional skills. You have lots of knowledge.
Districts need to have a plan in place that ensures consistency across the district.
