■ High Rise Basketball will be following the guidelines reflected in Coronavirus Memo#18 which released by the State of Connecticut. Click here to read the memo in full. In this presentation you will find protocols for the following:

Note: Optional Parent Meeting starting at 9am in Parking Lot
Health Screening Upon Camp Arrival
■ All staff and children will have their temperatures checked upon arrival to confirm temperature below 100 degrees Fahrenheit
■ Staff or children who have a temperature greater than 100 degrees are not permitted to attend camp

Social Distancing During Camp■ Camp Capacity – No more than 30 campers per day
■ Group Sizes – No more than 10 children in a group per day (3 Groups Maximum)
■ Camp Staff – The same counselor(s) will remain with the same group each day. Staff members will wear a mask or cloth face covering at all times during camp

Hand/Respiratory Hygiene/Enhanced Cleaning and Disinfection■ Regular hand washing by staff and children with soap and water for at least 20
seconds will be done:– Upon camp arrival– Before and after eating– After sneezing, coughing or nose blowing– After using the restroom– Before Handling Food
■ Hand sanitizer stations will be set up for each group to use

Gym Cleaning Before & After Camp
■ All “high touch” areas/surfaces will be cleaned at the beginning and end of each camp day
– “High tough” areas include:■ Doors knobs/handles■ Light switches■ Faucet handles■ Bathroom fixtures, etc.
■ All basketball equipment will be cleaned using a disinfectant including:– Basketballs– Cones– Hurdles– Jump ropes, etc.

“Sick Room”
■ Per State Guidelines we will set up a “Sick Room” in case any staff member or child develops an elevated temperature or who may become ill.
