Immiscible blend of Polyamide and Polyolefin
Polyamide 6 or 6,6 based alloywith a dispersed polyolefin phase
What is Orgalloy®
• Intimate mixture of materials. • Compatibilizers guarantee the morphology and a constant level of performance.
• Stable over multiple processing runs.
•Bad mixture of the 2 materials.•Poor performance.

Unique barrier properties
Orgalloy®: unique synergies
● PA matrix: Excellent barrier performance to HCs and apolar components.
● PE phase: Good barrier performance to polar components.
Orgalloy® “alloy-technology”: permeation is lower than blend/mixture of PA6/PE. This is the “nanocomposites” synergetic effect of alloys.
