High-Performance Laminated Glass Cutting LineThe example cutting line is fed with glass by an automatic loading system. To increase accuracy, the PVB trimming device auto-matically trims the excess PVB at the leading and the bottom edge.The unattended AdvaLam cutting system automatically performs edge deletion, as well as the glass scoring operation in the X-direction. Even the smallest residual strips are removed by the system. Glass sheets are cut continuously. The glass is cut at very fast cycle times and buffered into accumulators until it is transferred to two inline ProLam systems, where the glass is cut at high accuracy in the Y-direction with operator support.
