Specially designed for mounting on open deck,

robust construction

AISI 316L stainless steel construction with flange

DN100, NP16

Can be tested from outside of tank

A float with built-in magnet is moved with liquid

level and activates reed switch fitted inside the stem

When high level or overfill alarm is required, single

point magnetic level switch ITHLA-1 is used. When

both (high level and overfill) alarms are required,

double point magnetic level switch ITHLA-2 should

be used.

Can be installed in dangerous area and connected

via intrinsically safe isolator situated in non-

hazardous area. (According to explosion protection

standards, the equipment is regarded as a "simple

apparatus" due to the fact that it contains only

passive elements such as reed switch and resistors.)

Operating temperature: -25°C up to +90°C

Working pressure: up to 4bar for wetting part

MAGNETIC LEVEL MEASURAMENTS ITMLM

PRINCIPLE OF OPERATION

Resistors network and reed switches are incorporated in

the stem. The float with built-in magnet moves with liquid

level and activates reed switches. Resistor network

changes value due to operation of reed switches. Over

signal converter, resistance is converted to analogue signal

of 4-20mA. Signal converter is inside of the connection

head but can be also delivered in separate box.
