Slide 2 Hi!, Im Jacob Greenleaf I am a senior at Fraser, I run track, and I love to hunt. Leadership Presentation Slide 3 I am going into the Marines after high school and I think this decision will greatly influence the leader I will someday become. Slide 4 My father is someone that has prepared me to be a leader in the world someday by how he has motivated me. I wouldnt be the person I am today without my father. Slide 5 Another thing that has prepared me for leadership is Civil Air Patrol it is the auxiliary of the Air Force and it has helped me greatly. Slide 6 I see myself in the military maybe being an officer or just a high ranking NCO someday and I see myself leading men into combat or bettering them. Slide 7 I also see myself being a fair leader or democratic so I would be an understanding but also strict leader which is I feel the best way to be Slide 8 To better my self and prepare myself to be a leader I feel I need be a leader of myself first before I can lead others which means I must be squared away. Slide 9 Once I am a leader of myself I can now lead others and I just need to be more understanding and more disciplined Slide 10 Also I think it is essential that I know my strengths and weaknesses just not as a leader but my strengths and weaknesses for myself. Slide 11 I have many strengths I feel here are some Knowledgeable- I feel I am very knowledgeable about the military and leading people since I have prior experience leading teams Disciplined- to be in the military you have to have discipline but if I want to lead in the military I really need to be squared away Slide 12 Understanding- I feel to be a good leader in anything you must understand where everyone is coming from Respect- Just not respect your people but yourself this is essential since respect is essential just not in the military but also in any job in the civilian sector Slide 13 Everyone has weaknesses here are mine. Nervousness- It doesnt happen often but when I get nervous I cant seem to think straight and it effects my work Slide 14 Stubborn- I am a very stubborn person I do believe in what I believe in and sometimes when I am close with another stubborn person we are going to but heads. Slide 15 I think as long as I set my mind to something I will be able to achieve it no matter what. I am strong willed and I wont give up on my task to be a Marine and to eventually be a leader in the Marines. Slide 16 This will all benefit me sooner or later.
