Every Year One lucky Person is chosen to win the HGTV dream home. This year’s home is located in beautiful Park City, Utah. The stunning estate is located steps from the famous Provo River. The dream home is almost 4,000 square feet. It’s three bedrooms, four and a half bath home that includes a changing room!

Park City is one of the wealthiest areas in the US. Since 2009, homes have decreased in value by about 10-15%. Homes in Park City range from the low $300 thousands to $20M. The average home value is around $700 thousand. Park City 32 miles east of downtown Salt Lake City.

How the Winner is chosen

All the entries are categorized into bins. All of the mail in entries go into in physical bins, and the online entries are categorized into online bins. Each bin has a number, they put the numbers on ping pong balls and put the balls into a huge hopper. If the ball is for a physical bin, they dump out all the mail onto the floor and blindfold someone to pick an one of the entries that was dumped out. If the ball was from a virtual bin they choose the bin and the names go across the computer screen too fast for the eye to see. Once the president of HGTV clicks the spacebar and the winners name will pop up.

You can enter two different ways, online and a mail in Entry. You mail in your entry to PO Box 52822, Knoxville, TN 37950. You can also enter online at www.hgtv.com/dreamhome and on www.frontdoor.com. You can even enter twice each day online!
