Aucxis developed the Edge computing

middleware HERTZ to set up

communication between hardware and

business applications. For various devices

such as data collectors - among which RFID

readers, barcode scanners, cameras and

I/O modules - but also printers,

signalisation, barriers etc.

As a customer, you are completely

unburdened:

you only need to set up the communication

with our middleware HERTZ and you do

not have to be concerned about various

communication protocols with all

hardware components in a project.

All data are sent - in a structured way - to

the above-lying business logic. In this way,

you can use these data for process control

and for big data analysis.

environments.

For developing software and interfaces, Aucxis

uses, in most cases, standard protocols. So Aucxis

follows the GS1 guidelines with respect to data

structures and we already realised various

track&trace projects based on the GS1 EPCIS

structure. The Aucxis middleware HERTZ also

provides the transmission of data to cloud

platforms.

The Aucxis middleware HERTZ is based on the

Microsoft platform and is composed of a set of

modules and configuration files. In this way, the

customer can quickly switch to execute the

following tasks:
