It breaks my heart to see what is hap-pening in our country and our world. Every day we are reminded to ‘stay home, stay safe’.

Easter brought us a quiet meal for two. I can’t ever remember missing church and not having the whole family gather-ing on Easter Day. I can’t believe the closures we have had: Schools, high school sports, prom, churches, bank lob-bies, public offices, hair and nail salons, baseball games, the Easter Egg Roll at the White House, theaters, NBA, NHL, the Boston Marathon, restaurants, tav-erns, weddings, funerals, summer music fests, Disney World! and postponement of the July Olympics. The list goes on and on. We do social distancing and have no family gatherings. Little ones look up at us with wondering eyes not knowing why they aren’t getting any grandma & grandpa hugs and kisses.

Our lives have been turned upside down. We are out of control. We wonder how long will it be. Do we have enough toilet paper?! ?!

Well, we have never seen anything like it, but we shall rise to the occasion and will have learned a lot about ourselves, our families, our country and the world. I pray that you and your loved ones are all well and safe. And I pray that this will all be over soon, we can again travel and we will be better people than be-fore all this chaos.

    Missing you all, Donna

In the words of President Ronald Reagan, “Live simply, love generously, care deeply, speak kindly, leave the rest to God.” Thank you for your enduring support and please stay safe.

Part "Grumpy Old Men," part "The Odd Couple," the script is rich with one liners, tender mo-ments, musings about the sea-sons and the sacrifices one makes in life, and reflections on the way the world is changing. Mel Brooks calls the play "Very wise, very moving, but most of all, very funny."
