Here We GlowMake ornament bases mimic pewter with silver paint and black rub-on finish. Then stack them and hot glue to create romantic candleholders. And for mood-setting shine? Add self-adhesive pearls, tiny rhinestones and miniature LED lights.

We traded the traditional bride and groom cake topper for a set of sleek silver monograms. They’re surrounded by rhinestone-dotted rosebuds (pre-packaged) and dramatic tulle and pearl sprays, all held to a sleek, black-painted ornament base with hot glue. Tip: Go for glow with tiny LED lights (sold here in the Wedding Department). Tuck them into the embellishments, or glue them to the bottom of the base.

Fine Feathers are Perfectly PerchedThese lovebirds perch on a pompom and pearl-filled candleholder. We gave them height with an ornament base—it’s painted pearly white, and it’s embellished with ivory ribbon and a handmade flower. « Floral Finish
