ASU football player Pat Tillman is killed in Afghanistan.
MAY Val & Rene’s son Matthew graduates from Cal State Long Beach.
Cheryl & Larry join Alex at Los Caballeros for one of the last Belden golf tournaments.
Marie gets a new dog named Zoë.
Alicia & Mike return from their Hawaii vacation.

Volleyball is beginning again. Some of Marie’s high school
friends attend a game at ASU to watch Lindsay play for
Tulane.
Alex & Kathy begin the bi-weekly drive to Flagstaff to watch Marie play for NAU.
SEPTEMBER
Kathy & Alex celebrate their 32nd anniversary in the hospital for
Mimi’s detached retina surgery.
Our goal is to visit all the campuses that Marie plays volleyball with NAU and make a vacation of it.
At Sacramento State we stayed with Val & Rene.
OCTOBER
For Portland State and Eastern Washington, we landed in Seattle, drove to Portland, then on to Spokane and finally back to Seattle.
NOVEMBER
Mike & Alicia move into their new house.
Thanksgiving at our house.
Cami & Hannah visit.
We have our annual holiday dinner with Don & Darlene and Mickey & Pat at the Arizona Kitchen at the Wigwam.
