MEETINGS IN A UNIQUE ENVIRONMENT

At Artipelag, we help you to arrange meetings and events where the venue will be a memo-rable experience. We have restaurants of the finest international class and spaces that offer endless possibilities for creative meetings and events. The magnificent building’s fascinating architecture, coupled with the peaceful nature and exquisite food, provide inspiration for all senses. Furthermore, we gladly combine cultural elements like guided tours of the art exhibitions.

A PLACE FOR MANY EXPERIENCES

The name Artipelag is a combination of Art, Activities, and Archipelago. It says a lot about what we can offer, but it does not tell it all. Our intention has been to create a destination of high international quality – with boundary- crossing art exhibits, inspiring activities, and tasty food.

There is ample space here – about 32,000 square feet – for a large exhibition hall and a shop with our own custom-designed products. The site also boasts our Artbox, an enormous concert – event – and studio locale of 13,000 square feet with accompanying artists’ spaces. There are also activity spaces for children and youngsters, conference rooms of varying size, and two restaurants – both with outdoor serving and magnificent sea views.

THE ARTBOX

Artipelag’s Artbox, on level 2, offers endless possibilities for activities in a unique environ-ment. This impressive and multifunctional hall with an area of 1,200 m2 is the only one of its kind. The technical infrastructure makes it possible to quickly and easily build your event according to your specific requirements.

Special advantages that are included:• Black wool curtains hanging from tracks,

enough to cover the entire room with 50% folding capacity, 200 m of fabric.

• 10 sections of 12m Prolyte S36R trusses. Each and all of the trusses can carry 900 kgs center point load. The hoists are controlled using wireless remotes. There is power at every tross and DMX.

• 40 Martin Mac Aura – moveable lamps to lighten fabric, stage, floor etc.

• 8 VL1100 – moveable lamps as front/back lighting in stage or gobo projections on the walls.

• Sound system consisting of PA from L-ACOUSTICS – enough to create a strong and even sound pressure over the entire space for concerts, events and conferences.

• 8 wireless microphones.• In the walls and floor a signal distribution

of power, internet, sound and light is prepared.

• Over 1 000 Ampere spread around the space is available.

• A large doorway for trucks is available for easy unloading and loading.

THE ENTRANCE HALL

The fist impression when entering Artipelag is that the building has somehow grown out of a rock. The glittering sea in Baggensfjärden Bay and the majestic pines rising towards the sky can be viewed through the floor to ceiling windows.

This space is perfectly suited for gala dinners and cocktail parties. The setting with its extraordinary ocean view, combined with the modern architecture and open space, makes it excellent for larger groups to mingle during a conference or an event.

BÅDAN CAFÉ & PÂTISSERIE

On the entrance level, located on the second floor, you will find Artipelag’s jewel – the huge Gneiss rock, or ‘båda’ in local archipel-ago-language. The rock has been eroded to its current rounded shape by the ice age, and today, it emerges out of the restaurant’s floor.

The floor to ceiling windows behind the rock face the sea and give guests a feeling of being indoors and outdoors at the same time.

Bådan Café & Pâtisserie is as popular among conference participants as it is with visiting tourists, locals and summer guests.

THE ARTIST ROOM

On the first floor, we have the Artist Room with a separate entrance and a private terrace facing the sea. Here guests, such as artists or speakers, get an experience out of the or-dinary. Enjoy the bright Nordic summer eve-nings and the calm of the archipelago from the terrace which faces the Baggensfjärden Bay and the cliffs. It is a wonderful place to gather one’s thoughts and focus before a performance.

In the spaces there are 11 soundproof dress-ing rooms, a fully equipped make-up and cos-tume room, showers and bathrooms. There is also a large dining area and kitchenette. The Artist Room is perfect for conferences, workshops, meetings and dinners.

THE STUDIO

The Studio is located on the first floor. This is a flexible room with several set-up arrange-ments for meetings, workshops and private events.

From this room there is a direct connection to nature, with beautiful light and a view of the pines and water.

CHRYSANTHEMUM

On the third floor, in connection to Artipelag Restaurant, there is a board room with a beautiful view above the pine woods and the Baggensfjärden Bay. Outside this room you will find Björn’s Lounge which is perfect for arranging a smaller mingle before the meeting in Chrysanthemum.

ARTIPELAG RESTAURANT

On the third floor, you will find Artipelag Restaurant, with an extensive view over the sea. The surroundings are equally beautiful the year round, and in the summer, guests can sit on the large terrace and enjoy the unique archipelago nature.

Here, we will gladly set up tables for larger representation and business dinners, as well as private parties such as birthdays, jubilees and weddings. The connected open restaurant kitchen and brass bar creates a welcoming, perfect framing for the superb food.

BJÖRN’S LOUNGE

On the third floor of the building, in connec-tion to Artipelag Restaurant you will find the lounge, named after the founder and owner of Artipelag, Björn Jakobson.

The light wooden floor in this space is created from the trees that grew right on the site. Björn’s Lounge is normally furnished with beautiful, functional lounge furniture of Swedish design. Here we can arrange a pre- meal drink, a mingle or a relaxed time in a lounge environment. There is also an oppor-tunity to use the terraces connected to Björn’s Lounge, perfectly suitable for a group mingle.

PAVILION 1–3

On the third floor, in connection to Artipelag Restaurant, there are three separate pavilions with a sea view. Each pavilion has its own private, glazed patio with seating and infrared heating.

The pavilions are ideal for creative meetings, business lunches or private dinners for small groups. Guests can enjoy a nice meal and meet separately from other events, inspired by the view and the peaceful environment.

On the third floor, in connection to Artipelag Restaurant, you will find a beautiful corner pavilion with a sea view and its own patio with a roof. The pavilion is ideal for dinners, business lunches or conferences. Guests will get the feeling of meeting separately from other events and enjoy the exclusive corner view.

THE ROOFTOP TERRACE

If you would like to see the archipelago from above, you can walk up the ‘Milky Way’; the stairway leading to the rooftop terrace. Here you can sit down on the broad stairway steps, lean against the warm wall with a cup of coffee and enjoy the sun. Or, why not begin the party with a mingle on the rooftop under the open sky?

ARTIPELAG EXCLUSIVE

Some occasions demand exclusivity and geographic privacy. That is why we gladly let clients rent the entire Artipelag on request. We are one of the few meeting venues with an art orientation that has the option of being closed to the public.

MEAL PACKAGES AND MENUS

Many of our guests regularly comment on the tasty food at Artipelag.

This makes us happy and proud, because we truly think that the food has a special place in the holistic experience, whether it is a party, a business meeting, kick-off or memorial. Our philosophy is to serve tasty food made of the season’s finest ingredients with an eye towards the theme of the archipelago’s fish and seafood.

From our confectionary and bakery, we offer delicious pastries and desserts, as well as our popular bread which many choose to buy and take home.

We offer a wide variety of mingle and buffet menus and group lunches.
